Il Fornetto I agree with the other reviewers, what spectacular views. It is really the best location on Sheepshead Bay. The staff was accommodating and the seafood was fresh and tasty. The decor of the restaurant itself is nice, but go there around sunset and it is beautiful. It is really a nice experience. The service was very good, as was the food. By Trebor419 I agree more with first review about the service having issues, a gift certificate that I recently purchased was not honored beyond my beleif, and management was saying it was not going to be honored because the source it was purchased from was a mistake, but my gripe is that I paid money for that certificate and managment made no effort to compensate us at all, I refuse to go back to venue that does not care if there customers leave feeling bad. The minute I walked in I was greeted with a warm welcome and seated immediately. The view of the boats and birds passing was spectacular. The service was great and the food was even better and the desserts are to die for. I would highly recommend this restaurant and catering hall. As for myself I decided to book my sisters bridal shower in there banquet room (Veranda). As we were leaving and the sun was going down on the water the Veranda room was elegant and calming. This is the best restaurant I have been to in Sheepshead Bay.
