He would come in, listen, not note anything, give me refills and say that there was nothing he could do. I had bad site for a year due to meds that he put me on. He was rude and unprofessional and in the end would not give me a copy of my records

They are rude, ignorant and keep you waiting while they visit with each other outside your room. There is nothing convenient about them.

I had recused a kitten from behind Giavono's in Queensbury, I found a home for the kitten the next day. Unfortunately within a week myself and the person who adopted the kitten broke out in ring worm. My boss, who is awesome and a very caring boss, tells me to go to Convenient Medical that they can just bill them and for me to go get oral medication for the ring worm to use with the ointment I was using over the counter. Being that I don't carry health insurance because of the price it is through my employer, I thought this was very nice. My boss has done this in the past with employees through Convenient Medical, so they were very aware of my company. When I got there I explained everything to them and they said it would not be a problem, and on the statement I received when I left it said, "Bill Employer" and had the name of my employer on there. I received a bill in the mail about 1 month later and called to let them know they needed to send this to my employer. Shortly later I moved to Albany, I did a change of address and about 2 days ago I received a letter stating this has been sent to a credit reporting agency and will show up in collections on my credit report. I have spoke with my office manager and she has not received a bill from Convenient Medical. We are a very reputable company and have an accounts payable department that makes sure all of our bills are paid. When I called Convenient Medical to tell them this the lady was extremely rude to me, told me "Well you've received 12 bills and haven't paid the bill" I told her I received 1 bill and had called and let them know they were sending the bill to the wrong person. She said then "I've never talked to you and I sit up front." Keep in mind this was 1 1/2 years ago LOL I'm sure she remembers, I know for a fact I called and I asked that this be taken care of and sent to the correct address, and taken off my credit report, she screamed in the phone IT WILL then slammed the phone down. I could not believe how rude someone was when I called to address a simple $150 bill and it was going to be affecting MY credit in a negative way, she sure would not like that to happen to her. You would think knowing it was HER error, she would have been nice, she was condescending and rude making me uncomfortable to even talk to her. This is a care facility, people go there to gt taken care of, and you have this woman to deal with, Debbie, not such a nice person and maybe should look into another field where you don't have to deal with the public. I urge you GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Not a nice place to deal with at all!!!!!

I went there a few times simply because they will see you that day, whereas other doctors are scheduling 4 months from now, and im not dealing with the hospitals anymore... but schedule accordingly because you will be there for 4 hours.. each time i visited, which i think was 6 times, i was in common waiting room for 25 min average.. and in the exam room for 2 hours, NOT KIDDING.. i was in there once and they were going to close for the day, and the nurse accidentally opened door, and was alarmed that i was there.. Doctor will always tell you he had an "emergency".. 4 of the 6 times he said that when i asked why it takes so long.. the nurse brings you in to exam room, takes your weight, asks you what hurts, takes BP.. then leaves.. thats it.. Doctor Merrihew (very nice, seems caring) doesnt come in for 2 hours.. another time, i actually left the office, went to CVS for drug refill, and came back, and they had no clue, i even walked out once and they didnt even notice me.. the walls are thin and you will here the "emergencies" that plague the doctor.. hes in the nurse center on his laptop googling and IMing people, where it is one big chat festival.. talking about memories, vacations, parties, and one obnoxious nurse talks loudly on phone to son "connor" about daycare and bowel movements.. its really a good time apparently to work there.. to be a patient, not so much.. .they billed me $200 once for Doctor Merrihew to write a refill on my prescription he authorized 3 days prior.. its very unprofessional

This place should be put completely out of practice. I waited an hour in the waiting room which was almost empty, I don't even know what I was waiting for. I was brought in and asked about 20 questions that had absolutely nothing to do with my common symptoms, then left in a waiting room for another hour - this is no exaggeration. I had to repeat all of my symptoms to three separate people, and one took down info on a piece of SCRAP paper, NO CHART. I repeatedly peeked out of the room and went to the bathroom, only to overhear and see the doctor standing around chatting with the nurses every time. When he finally came in, he refused to tell me either way whether the strep test they supposedly gave me was positive or negative, refused to agree whether or not I had a mere cold, then tossed 5 mere samples of the antibiotic Avelox at me with no info on the medication. Then he demanded I ask multiple questions, telling me it was my right, but when I began to ask whether I had strep for sure because I needed to know for work, he told me patients usually lie to their employers anyway and that I should do that. I told him I needed to know for sure whether I had strep, and he started getting huffy. I also demanded info on the medication and wondered why I was being given it if I only had a viral cold, and he refused to give me info and did not give me any answers and got hostile and yelled in my face and repeatedly told me that I have issues for questioning him.

I became very aggitated and asked for my co-payment back. No one ever asked why I was leaving and it appeared that the staff was quite used to this occurance. I encourage anyone to avoid this practice at all cost. This place is only Convenient for the employees as the nurse took personal phone calls while getting my personal information and the other employees seem to not do anything. STEER CLEAR.

I have been going to Dr Don since 1996. have always received excellent treatment & service. very caring staff. as in a hospital, they take care of more urgent matters 1st. nothing wrong in that. I will continue to see Dr Don & staff whenever i need to.

This place is the biggest quack practice ever.

I know of at least 5 people who've been told to come on it we can help only to sit for hours in a waiting room untreated and have 'doctor don' be a complete jerk when confronted about it.

Convenient Medical Care (nurses and our wonderful Dr. Merrihew) are fabulous. They have been taking care of my husband, myself and my daughter since we moved here in 2002. Dr. Merrihew, and his staff go out of their way to make you comfortable. He has gone way beyond his call of duty to make sure we are healthy and taken care of (there is HEART as well as brilliance in his medical practice, something that the profession has been lacking)... I can't say enough about Dr. Merrihew and his staff they have gotten us through some very serious medical conditions as well as a cold or the flu, all with the same care and concern.

Is with one of the BEST doctor's we have ever gone to - being from Florda I picked him out of the phone book to have as a doctor to have In that area as we spend alot of time in the area with my Son and Grandkids. But my husband and myself found after a few visits with him that we found a Doctor that not only did his Job but really made us feel that he really cared and was concerned about us, All the workers equally felt that way also - I am back in Florida now but will be back there soon and will go to him as soon as I return. I can not say enough about how both my husband Joe and I feel about he and his employees to everyone .
