Ardda Animal Hospital

I have been a client of Dr. K's now for 3+ years. I had taken in a stray and he has always been just amazing with us. Most recently, Miss Kitty had her tail slammed in the door by my then 4 year old. It was just awful. Because it was after hours we had to go to the emergecy doctors. The next day I took Miss Kitty to Dr. K and the worst of our fears were confirmed, Miss Kitty has to have her tail partially removed. Because of the damage I knew it was probably best. She was scheduled for surgery the next morning, and when I called to see how she had made out, Dr. K. spoke with me and said, "Mom, after preparing Miss Kitty for surgery, and checking the xray, I have decided that she does NOT need to endure tail removal." That tells me that he is a good Vet, and he cares about our babies. He could have proceeded and collected the money for it and know one would have known any different, but he didn't. Today my new kitten Max is having surgery for castration and front nail removal and I trust Dr. K. and his staff 100%. R.M. Newton

My dogs were patients there - 2 weeks ago my dog got real sick I called made appt. couldnt see him for 2 days. Fine..made appt. got call 2 hours before and they cancelled too many emergencies - I got them to at least look at a urine sample - came back he was very sick - needs tests -did a urine concentration test - my dog still never saw the doctor only a tech to give him a shot for the test - when he wss there for that saw he lost 10lbs in 3 months.Still no doctor-got call he needed ultrasound to look at kidneys - still nodr. I called them yesterday cuz my dog got worse-please see him today-vomitting,stopped eating couldnt walk was shaking - 3hours go by no call back-I caled Sreceptionist S.says(very crassly) dr.has ur chart will call u. She calls bk 10mins. later dog needs to be seen now we are too busy cant see him til Fri - go to emergency vet - WOULD NOT SEE MY DOG STILL...got him to emerg. vet - he was in complete renal failure and had been - if a bld test was done almost 2weeks prior my dog would not have suffered so much because of those horrible people at ards -please save ur pets agony and DO NOT GO HERE...needless to say we lost our baby yesterday... zero rating

In the world that we live in, filled with turmoil and chaos, one of the things that bring us peace, is our pets. I have owned many pets over the last 50 years. I have trusted my pet care to several vets. Some good some better, but in my humble opinion, and that of my family, Dr. K is the best.
I have actually seen dogs that are "behaving badly" calm down in just a minute or two, after meeting Dr. K. for the first time.
He always takes the time to fully explain the options, and his diagnosis' have always been correct.
He kept my dog Samantha healthy for 16 years. Seth, Sue, Deb and all the staff have earned my trust and respect.

We took our yellow lab puppy to Ardda after seeing that they had reasonable prices and overall good reviews. I am in the health care profession and have worked with Dr's for years. Dr.K does not listen to what you have to say instead he likes to hear himself speak. I believe that he is a very intelligent person although he is severely lacking in people skills. I found the receptionist rude and condescending on multiple occasions. I would pay a little extra for some compassion and an open ear.

We Have Been Clients Of Dr K For Several Years And Have Nothing But The Utmost Respect For Dr K And His Staff. They Are The Most Professional And Knowledgeable Professionals In The Pet Care Industry. Dr K And His Staff Are About Helping And Loving Pets Not About Getting Rich As Most Vets In The Roch Area Are About.I Must Say I Am Appalled By The Review Placed By Jean B And The Horrendous Lies She Has Posted. Anyone Who Has Been A Client Of Dr K Knows Better And Jean B Should Be Ashamed. She Was Obviously Looking For A Vet To Put Her Dog To Sleep And Found One Who Apparently Doesn't Care About Helping To Save A Pet. Shame On You Jean B!!! Dr K Would Never Suggest Nor Participate In A Treatment Plan That Would Cause Suffering In A Pet!

I had a border collie/lab puppy from Lollypop that suddenly got very ill; refused to eat, walk or even open her mouth. I was a client of a different vet in Greece, who was sure it was a simple fix. A week and almost 1000.00 later, I came to Ardda for a second opinion. Dr. K listened, did a thorough exam, and had the courage to say "I'm not sure what she has, but we will do everything we can to find out." After consulting with Drs from Cornell, he took a muscle biopsy and we had a diagnosis of eosinophilic myocitis. I am convinced if it were not for Dr. K and his great staff, my dog Quincy would have not made it. We took our 2 dogs there for the next 10 years,(until we moved to Honeoye Falls) and could not have been happier with the care and kindness they showed our "babies". While our new vet is ok, he is no Dr. K! We miss him!

I took my dog to Dr K. Over a period of weeks my dog was declining. She couldn't use her left hind leg very well. This Dr X-rayed her legs and spine and told me she had a partially torn ligament in her knee. When I took her back he kept her in the hospital for a couple of days and said that she was fixable with surgery but lets try some pain relief and an antibiotic that got into her bones better. I tried. When her condition worsened I called and told him that I thought I may have to put her to sleep. He told me that part of the reason she was acting so poorly was that I was babying her and that she was playing me. He suggested that her condition was ABSOLUTELY fixable with surgery and I should consider returning her to Lollypop Farm where I had adopted her not quite a year ago. Instead I opted for a second opinion. I took my dog to a new vet who diagnosed her with bone cancer in her left hock about 15 min after I got there. This Dr Fagan was so nice to me. He explained that no matter what I did for my girl we could probably only buy her another couple of months. I held her in my arms telling her what a good girl she was as he administered the euthanasia solution. Thank god he took what I was saying seriously and my girl is no longer suffering. I only wish I had known sooner so she wouldn't have had to suffer as long as she did. By the way, I spent around 800.00 for the privilege of working with Dr K. Perhaps next time he will listen to what an owner is trying to tell him. I think he is an unprofessional jerk.

Dr. Kutrybala is a good veterinarian and surgeon and cares about your pets. His prices beat out everyone in the area, bar none. Ask about multi pet discounts. Can't get cheaper vaccines anywhere, I bet you.
