This is a great place to grab a couple of drinks before a game or concert at MSG. It's walking distance to MSG, the staff and service is usually pretty good

If you're in the Penn Station area and looking for a bar that has good food and isn't too touristy this is the place to go! With a wide variety of beverages and a decent bar food menu, it's worth a visit!

Mustang Sally's Saloon is so close to Penn Station. Nice place to meet for a drink and have some appy's. Our waitress was so friendly. The atmosphere was very nice.

Easy place to meet up with a friend or grab a quick bite in close proximity to Penn Station. Good bar scene of commuters. Sta away from here on the nights where there is a big event at MSG.

getting 5-stars because was there on a monday night after my volleyball match... was watching some monday night football (lots of tv's here), and the bartender was so chill (nice old dude) and just got us a free round of booze.. a chill spot, it was empty since it was a monday so i cant say how it is during the other nights.
ok so went back there to watch some sunday football.. if your game is on national tv, they have sound, other games that run of the satellite wont. didnt really matter, this place was exactly what i was looking for on that sunday, nothing too crowded, quick service, and lots of big tv's.. boom

Somehow managed to go to Mustang Sally's twice in a week - once on a Saturday (took my family out to lunch) and later on in the week for meeting with a client (his choice - I kept quiet). Was disappointed both times. The food is good, nothing fantastic, but the service and management is horrendous.

On my first visit, the food took over an hour to arrive. When I asked the waitress what was holding the order up, she claimed ignorance and then quickly (and repeatedly) ran away. When I asked to speak to the manager so I can complain, I was told she would arrive shortly. When the manager failed to arrive, on the way out I asked the hostess and was told that both the manager and owner left.

Second time, pretty much the same thing. Late food, lousy service, absent management. No way to run a restaurant. Avoid.

We have eaten at this restaurant several times over the years and we always go back for more. It is a bar and a restaurant, get their early on concert nights (it is a couple blocks from the Garden). Great Beer as well as food!

We came here after the Kathy Griffin concert as did many people. We waited by the hostess desk for a long time & had to go find her. They didn't ssem to be ready for a crowd, their was also only 1 waitress and although she was nice, she couldn't handle the rush after 10 pm. but with that said, this place had the best burgers I've tasted in a long time. So Juicy. Great music playing and alot of TVs. Just 3 short blocks from MSG, it's perfect for a late night stop.
