Beyul means hidden realm. This hidden jewel on the edge of the meatpacking district must surely be one of the most beautiful shops in NYC. It is mystical -- Asia at your feet with its large, beautiful space with drifting scents, lovely music and merchandise carefully handpicked by its owner at a price which would be much more elsewhere in the city. It's easy to believe it's the secret buying space for the top interior designers in NYC. This is not your mother's Asian antique shop; filled with gorgeous, hand picked items beautifully displayed, it's easy to see why many who live in the neighborhood drop by not only to shop but to drink in the simply amazing atmosphere provided by the owner, Matthew Carrigan. Go....you will be drawn in to the mystic of the shop and the wonderous merchandise......they've been there for six years. It's a hidden realm.
