I ordered the flowers from my wedding by Flowers By Bernard on Amboy Rd. I dealt with a gentleman named David Irving - he's SO RUDE. He helped me on the first visit with some basic questions about when/where and colors. And of course to collect his deposit. From that moment on I dealt with a very nice girl named Jessica. She put together a beautiful centerpiece for us and was a sheer pleasure to work with. At our final appt we met with Irving again - final payment was due....
My flowers were all wrong. I called him after returning from my honeymoon to tell him I was not very impressed and expected to be refunded for my bridesmaid bouquet (he gave me a ball of ribbon rather than a ball of roses and cahrged me $70). Long story short - he screamed at me, hung up on me and made me call him for 5 months until I received my refund. Not someone who I would recommend to ANYONE. Go to the Hylan Blvd store - they're so much nicer.

My wife and I have been ordering flowers from Flowers by Bernard for about 15 years. In person, we've only visited their Hylan Boulevard shop, but we've made telephone orders from both.

A good selection, decent prices, all that you would expect, but what separates this shop is the QUALITY of their flowers. Recipients of the flowers are always comenting on how fresh they arrived and how long they lasted.

We've sent their funeral arrangements on several occasions (unfortunately) and have in those cases been able to see the product, as delivered. ALWYAYS Exceptional.

If you choose Flowers by Bernard you don't have to worry.

PROS: QUALITY is above the rest, Same Selection & Same Prices, give or take.
CONS: Ordering from their website carries a service fee, order by phone instead!

When I needed a wrist corsage, I chose to order it from Flowers By Bernard since I had been pleased with their floral bouquets in the past. I paid for the corsage in full when I ordered it about a week and a half before my event. A few days later, the event was cancelled so I no longer need the corsage. They readily gave me my money back and did not give me any hassle with cancelling the order.

PROS: Beautiful arrangements; great staff.
CONS: None.
