I am totally disgusted and disappointed in the lack of professionalism! We ordered a prom dress in early February (a dress that they just got in), made a deposit, and received a call 5 weeks later that the dress was in. Not until the owner brought the dress from the back room did she tell us "they sent a size too small, that's all they had, they can no longer get the dress"! How long had she known? Why not tell us over the phone, so we could absorb the shock, process the information, discuss options, and be ready for plan B?? No, wait until the customer comes to your store in excited anticipation, only to be let down hard! She did not even have the courtesy to offer options!! Needless to say, my daughter was crushed, I was shocked~~and to top it off, in order to salvage her precious sale, the owner promptly asked if we would like to look around for another dress!! Like I would be foolish enough to allow this to happen again? I realize things happen, plans fall through, whatever, but my advice is to be honest from the very beginning (on the phone or even at the time of ordering)...the truth might be hard for the customer to hear, and the outcome might be the same, but the way this was handled, the trust was gone! How could I trust these people to order another gown, when its obvious they are interested in their sale only, and not their customers!
