Worst Doctor's ! Stay away!!! I went there and my dog was misdiagnosed when she was sick. I walked out with no medication or answers. But I did walk out with a 400bill not including a physical bill for over 800$ 1 1/2 month prior in

This place was far below unsatisfactory! I went there, they misdiagnosed my dog, game me antibiotics and charges me $500. Few weeks later problem still not solved, and i later realized they did a rubbish test on him just to charge me!!! beware! Dont take your pet here, it might be your last visit to the doctor!

All of my animals have been patients at Park East since 2000. Our vet is Dr Monica Kennedy, who cared for our beloved cat, Oscar, through a variety of illnesses, including terminal cancer. I cannot say enough good things about her and the PEAH staff. Oscar was euthanized at home in the most gentle, dignified and kind manner possible. Dr Kennedy and the staff take superb care of our wonderful dog, Bart. They are the best! Our animals will always come here.

we took our 12 yr old poodle to Park East on Sunday at 9am and were met by Dr. Leah Jackson. She was professional, empathetic, and incredibly smart. She immediately took our limp, sad dog and had him worked up and diagnosed his illness. Dr. Jackson recommended leaving our dog overnight after he received fluids and meds but I chose to take him home to return in the morning. Needless to say, I was wrong and Dr. Jackson so right. She spoke with me at least 4 times on the phone to discuss returning to Park East that night where only a tech is on all night or AMC where , having been there a few days earlier for an ultrasound where my dog probably picked up the virus, emergency drs are there around the clock. Dr. Jackson explained that she would come back to Park East at 9pm and admit my dog assuring me he would have personal, caring nurses and techs all night after she left and that she was just a phone call away and my dog would receive excellent care. As a lawyer, and a demanding consumer, I was thrilled with the care and attention my very sick dog received. The staff at night is very experienced, caring, and warm. The day staff explained that the night techs have been there 15 yrs!! I called 4 times a day and even at 11pm at nite and always spoke with someone there and never an answering service. Dr. Jackson called me repeatedly with updates, other drs there also checked on him. I was concerned about visiting my dog as I feared i would breakdown when leaving, but once again, Dr. Jackson was correct. I did visit and my sad little guy perked up, ate some food, and the next day he really started to improve. I visited each day and was made comfortable in a room by ourselves. How great was that!! I have been to many vets in the past both in NYC, the Hamptons, and Connecticut, but none compare favorably, even AMC ! Yes, it was expensive, ( so is AMC and you are just a number ) but it was worth the excellent care my older dog received. He needed 15 eye drops a day for glaucoma and when I picked him up yesterday he was his old happy half-blind waggy tailed little dog. Dr. Jackson may be new to Park East, but wow was I impressed with her skills and the friendliness and helpfulness of everyone there. Kudos to Dr. Abramson who is also the best!!!

I was recommended to Park East by a friend who has used them for 25 years. I live on Long Island, and spend much of my time in Queens. I bred my Champion dog to another Champion I wanted a vet I could count on. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Berman is full of the knowledge 30 years of experience could give. I highly recommend this place

I took my two dogs to Park East for their annual exam and walked out shocked by the bill. Although the exam was thorough and the vet was extremely knowledgeable I just didn??t feel that is was worth the money. There are too many vets in NYC that are just as good for a fraction of the price. The staff was not helpful at all.

My puppy was about 2 and I took him to my local vet because his stomach was acting up. She took X-Rays and freaked out, telling me my dog had something sharp in his stomach that looked like it was about to cut him up inside and I needed to take him immediately to the emergency clinic and he would probably need surgery. Needless to say I was extremely upset. So I took my dog to Park East which is open 24 hours and a young, sweet vet saw my dog. He was incredibly gentle and kind and assured me that everything was fine with my dog and that he did NOT need surgery and that it looked like whatever was stuck in his stomach would pass in a day or two. He was right (it was a piece of a pen cap).

PROS: expert vets, kind, quick service
CONS: expensive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
