Really poor florist-- I would recommend ANY of the other florists in the area. Buyer beware.

I received a call from this place as someone had ordered me flowers. I was at work, so the message was to call them back to schedule a delivery time. I have called them back 3 times now and each time i was told that they have to find my order and call me back. 3 times now they have not called me back to schedule a delivery. I'm not sure if they cant keep the orders straight, or if they just don't care. Either way, steer clear of this place!!!

I have no idea what any of you other people have experienced, but my experience was wonderful with them. They are the only flower shop i will be ordering from. Their customer service was great and their arrangements are beautiful. Any one who doesnt want to order from Quality Florist is out of their minds

My girlfriend ordered a pretty pricey birthday bouquet to be delivered at my office in the morning. When it did not arrive by noon, she called and they said it was on its way (shop is only a few blocks from office). Several hours later when she called me to see if they had arrived, the bouquet came - if you could call it that. I described the small arrangement which was a few white roses, too many white carnations and white button flowers with silver holiday decorations stuck in - not unattractive for a colleague but definitely not the 16" elegant pink roses, dahlias, etc in a glass vase that she had paid for. (I can understand when florists have to make substitutions but this was just plain wrong.)
By the time I got the flowers, I was pissed. I'd waited around at the office specifically for the flowers as I had to be somewhere and then they were not what she'd paid for.
I called Quality Florist (my girlfriend was busy at work) and the guy was so non chalant about the whole thing and had me on hold on the phone while looking for my order. He did not apologize at first or offer to correct it he put me on hold. No mention of sorry we goofed on your birthday or we apologize for the inconvenience. Then, when I'm muttering under my breath (while on hold) about how this was "cursing" unbelieveable - he suddenly reappears and freaks out about what I had said and hangs up on me. I called back to make sure my friend will get her money back and they said she would but I should return the flowers! I left them with the doorman...
Bottom line is - if someone orders flowers, they should get what they pay for, not cheap filler flowers and they should get the flowers they specifically purchased, not a cheap substitute. I would not recommend this service...

I received a dozen long-stem roses that started to die the very next day. Quality Florist said they would replace the roses and delivered the replacement to the wrong apartment. They finally replaced the dead roses and also let us keep the ones that had been delivered to the wrong apartment. However, both replacement roses also failed to open and within 24 hours the heads were drooping and dying. I called Quality Florist to tell them that the replacement roses had the same problem as the original roses and their customer service person accused me of not taking proper care of the roses. She claimed that I had not watered them, or didn't cut their stems, or placed them in the sun or in front of an air condition. I assured her that I have received roses before and the roses had been properly cared for. I also noted that no instructions had been sent with the roses, The woman then said "everyone knows how to take care of roses". She also said that roses don't live more than 3 days (I guess she doesn't know about the 7 day freshness promise of most online florists) and she kept insisting that she had replaced the roses three times, which was simply not true. I would never again use this florist. Not only did they send bad flowers but they were rude and insulting and failed to hold themselves accountable for a bad product

I sent my mother flowers for the Friday before Mother's day. I placed the order online and received a receipt and confirmation email from them. She never received them. I had to call three times on Monday and their excuse was that they never received my order (even though I got a confirmation from their domain) and therefore didn't charge my card. When I asked how I received confirmation if it wasn't received the owner (Nick, I believe) hung up on me....Yikes! So in addition to my mother getting nothing for Mother's Day I got terrible service!

Recently ordered a spa basket for my mom's birthday-she loved it! I was surprised at their selection from a neighborhood florist, but I dealt with more than one staff member, and everyone was really nice and accomodating...Gift was exactly how they described and delivered on time with courteous service...I've tried several florists in the city, and felt like the service at Quality Florists was exactly that...quality driven!
