Owner and instructor Jackie is absolutely super. She worked with horses all her life and she really knows and loves what she is doing. I only took 2 classes with her, and so did my 7 years old son as we were visiting family in Southold. Jackie has been able to teach us a lot during these 2 sessions, we both felt confidence and could appreciate what it means to ride. It has been a great workout, too!

If you're looking to further your riding experience, or begin riding This is the top of the line place. I'm not even joking Ms. Jackie has trained generations of riders AND TRAINERS and most of long islands other trainers have atleast some experience with Jackie. So she is the best! All riders from age 6-100 can come here as an absolute beginner or hampton classic level.

Pros:
Great board,
nice friendly people,
a large indoor arena,
30 box stalls
top of the line training
large field and paddocks
trainer will take you to hunts, paces, shows etc.

Cons:
lessons are slightly pricy
The arena is terribly dusty, though this is being fixed
Few modern appliances; (i.e. ac, heat)
Few horses provided for the in-between rider (not elite level nor beginner)
