This company does not stand behind their products! I don't know what has happened to this business - we purchased several items over the years from Feidens and have always been satisfied but our most recent purchase has been a nightmare. Almost immediately after purchasing a high-end, low-water washing machine, we started to have problems with it - clothes did not come out clean and some were even damaged. We contacted the sales department, then the service department - both departments basically shifted the repsonsibililty to the other, then they recommmended that we contact the manufacturer directly. After two service people determined that the machine is working properly, our clothes still do not get clean and they continue to get damaged. Feiden refuses to do anything at all for us. All we wanted was to exchange the machine for a different type of washer. I'm sure they would not have lost a single dime on the transaction and they would have kept a loyal customer. Despite wanting to 'buy local' we will NOT give this local company another dime of our business.

Miserable service, incompetent, uncaring staff. Stay far away!
The unit I ordered came with a damaged door. They ordered a new one for me - but ordered the WRONG one. Not once, but 3 times! Then, they just gave up and never called back. Waste of time & money.

This place is a total retail train wreck. Spent a small fortune on a refrigerator, they've been back over a dozen times, and it still doesn't work. Their affect,... "Oh well..." Only sorry this won't allow NO stars.

If there are any good reviews for them they must be relatives, the saslesmen themselves or liars! Major con artists!They are they worst!, absolutley no customer service. I have filed with the better business bureau however don't expect much. Thay have my money and I have their crap! No response to many calls, delivered refrig no ice maker and with, dented doors, 5 mos later an ice maker recd.,no replaced door, no call backs, major run around and me hassling them for service. Gave me ulcers.

I purchased over about $16,000 worth of high-end appliances in 2008. At their suggestion I purchased a Liebherr refrigerator insted of the Sub-Zero I wanted. After dealing with the salespeople there you feel like you need to go home and takle a shower.

From day one their service was so poor it was beyond belief - to include delivering my Wolf stove with no knobs. When I asked about it they told me to use vice grips with a laugh. The Liebherr never made ice. They told me Europenas drink their beverages warm!!!!!

I would highly recommend the Latham store. Eric was our salesman. He was not only knowledgeable and informative, but beyond accommodating! I purchased a Fisher paykel washer (which I love btw!) I had a gas leak on a clothes dryer-explained to feiden technician that NYSEG had checked the gas lines so it was most likely in the dryer but after he left , without testing dryer, there was a stronger gas smell than before. I called service to complain and they told me they can not always catch these things the 1st time yet there would be another charge to come back and that i probably needed a part that costs $150 based on what i described! After a week waiting for the part and numerous unreturned phone calls, I called another company that repaired the leak inside the dryer (without the $150 part). Feiden's tech. never tested or checked anything and he also had inappropriate comments while in my home. Avoid this company-horrible customer service and very unprofessional.

Purchased a Bosch clothes washer and they did not hook up the drain line properly. All wash cycles pumped out on the floor. My phone calls and emails were not returned. I went to the store in person and they took all my information and nobody contacted me for days. I returned to the store in person and was ignored because the sales guys recognized me and why I was there. I got wet carpets and Sheet rock and they eventually, reluctantly paid for the carpet in the adjacent room to be re-installed. Extremely poor service after the sale was made. I will never deal with them again after purchasing 6 appliances there over the past 7 years.

Unfortunately there is no zero star rating. because that's what they were for me. They are so nice when they are taking your money and making promises and delivering your stuff. I spent $3,000 for a fridge with them which had some cosmetic and noise issues. It took nine months of badgering just to get them to send someone out to look at it. He appeared to be a heroin addict. Six more months of them not even ordering the parts before i took them to small claims court where they tried to tell the judge i had refused service. Well the judge didn't buy this fabrication and found in my favor but they don't have the integrity to do what's right even then.
I went to the store with my judgement and spoke to Mike Feiden, (who sold me the fridge and promised to fix it) and asked nicely for a check. He walked away from me. No surprise.
I will need to pay the sherriff to go after them for me. More time, more money, more aggrivation
Avoid these people. There are legitimate businessmen out there who care about what they are doing and thier reputation.

The woman reviewing before me thinks thier great.
They are perhaps until your check clears.
Do a search for earl b feiden bad.
I am not the only one they have done this sort of thing to and i wish i had invested more time researching them before i gave them my hard earned money!

We bought a Capital 30" range and a floor model Leibherr 30" refrigerator. Guy Jordan was more than courteous and professional and his product knowledge is excellent. If you want cheaper stuff and a sales staff with limited product knowledge, go to Lowes.
As far as price, they were better than most anyone else and they are willing to bargain a little. We have had a few small problems like the crisper drawer having a chip in it but one call to Guy and a new one is on the way even though this was a floor model. He said it would be under waranty.
Overall, a very good experience. Make sure you talk to Guy Jordan, he is one of the most knowledgeable and customer service oriented salespeople I have ever dealt with.

I'm not sure how they charge you a restocking fee on an instock small kitchen appliance that was coming from their warehouse. I never even touched the item, and I wanted to cancel the order. They want to charge me a 25% restocking fee even though I never even touched let alone opened it. Is this a fair business practice? They also are not very helpful about what is different between some products. I will not shop there again!

Do not buy anything from this company, unless you want to be continually frustrated. We've had problems with every single appliance we purchased from them, and their attitude has been "so?" They're very good at selling, and absolutely abysmal at maintaining. If I did my job as poorly as they do theirs, I'd have a permanent place on the unemployment line.

There's nothing worse than a company that sells top of the line items, but provides bottom of the barrel repair service. Phooey on Feiden!!
