I attended NCC at night to get my degree while working full-time. It was tough but I did it. The wide variety of course offerings for working students made it the rigfht choice as other local colleges had limited course offerings to fit into schedules of working strudents.

They offer courses which run the gamult, from music and arts to computers and technology to medicine and science. The teachers for many of the courses are published and know what they are talking about - many are also professionals intheir respective fields.

The downside to that is that some of them are not up to par. I took a health-related class based on the description and the professor announced he was "going a different way" with the class and it was a joke.

For students who are looking to save money and use NCC as a springboard to a four year education, this is a great place to go.

PROS: wide seletion of course offerings, good springboard to a 4-year education
CONS: some adjunct professors not up to par

This school is good for starter classes or fill-ins during the summer but the caliber of teachers and students is not always up to par. Fortunately other schools will recognize the credits for transfer, so it is a good place to start your college education at a reasonable cost.

Addmissions people are not as friendly as I thought they would be for a school, sometimes give you the runaround on the phone for different departments. Short Hours if you live out of state to try and get a hold of a real person. Once you get the department director they were very nice. No problems on getting to the school they have a lot of buses that go around the college that can get you where you want to go they have alot of options on degrees you can get.

PROS: you can get a degree quickly, wonderful transportation close
CONS: hard to get a hold of, attitude when you talk to addmissions
