Pizza Suprema

A simple staple like pepperoni pizza has never tasted so good! I'd eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner if I could afford eating out that much.

I have eaten at this establishment many times over the last few years and I can honestly say it is the best?.If you love pizza you need to experience Pizza Suprema. They have a great selection of pizza?my personal favorite is the upside down slice?..If you are looking for a true New York slice look no further-the pizza is truly devine:)

I stopped in and read the owners recommendations:

Regular
Up Side Down (Like a sicilian slice)
Fresh Mozzarella with Basil

I had both a regular slice and the Up Side down slice for lunch. Home run baby! I spoke with the guy behind the counter, he was more excited about the pizza than me. The crust was nice and thin, sauce and cheese were of a good quality and the turnover always has fresh pies out of the oven.

Its nice this place is so close to Penn Station. I heard about this place on the internet and I'm passing my review along to others. Its GREAT!

When I am meeting someone in the Penn Station/MSG area, I always make Pizza Suprema the meeting spot. Having been born and raised in the NYC area, I am quite familiar with good pizza and not so good pizza. From the first time I ate here, I was blown away by the unbelievably delicious food they serve. Before coming here, I always classified pizza as good or not so good, and never really understood why some people would be so adamant about pizza reviews. After eating at Pizza Suprema, I came to understand what really great Pizza was, and finally realized that reviews are not hype.

The pizza they serve is always consistent; consistently great tasting that is! My favorites are the regular round, upside down, fresh mozzarella, and white slice garnished with lightly breaded eggplant cutlets. It is not difficult to explain what makes their pizza great, but it would take me too many words to describe. Taste it once, and you will understand. But be advised, you may become addicted, and have difficulty eating pizza anywhere else!

PS: the management and staff are always very professional, courteous and gracious, which makes the expereince perfect in all respects.

This place has one of the most unique assortment of pizzas that I've ever tried. My fiance and I love going here every once in a while for a guilty pizza indulgence.

Toppings (on slices) Sausage, Pepperoni, Mushroom, Green Peppers, Onions, Anchovies, ground beef , olives. .

Another favorite is the Roman Pie Layered with Sausage, Pepperoni, Ham & Cheese.
Take a friend or two and enjoy!

I come to pizza suprema 3 times a week and its the best pizza ever!! The pizza here is out of this world. From the sauce to the cheese. The thin crust is unbelievable and the fresh mozzarella basil is amazing!! I would definitely recommend this pizzeria to anyone who is in the area to try this place out. The owner and workers are very nice! they are the best as well as their Pizza!! All the best! Thank you for making my lunch time enjoyable! :)

Pizza is my favorite food. It is also the favorite food of my 6 year old son. Our favorite place for our favorite food is NY Pizza Suprema. The sauce is always fresh tasting and flavorful. The crust is perfect, not spongy or chewy. I like best the regular cheese slice and the basil mozzarella slice. The basil gives it that extra zest. My son's favorite is the upside-down slice on the sicilian crust. The grated cheese on top of the upside down pizza gives it an edge over the regular sicilian slice which is also great!

NY Pizza Suprema is one of the few top ranked pizzerias which sells pizza by the slice. This allows you to get your favorite slice-warm hot or even extra crispy. You can even stack two warm cheese slices on top of each other like John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever and eat your pizza while strutting down Eighth Avenue. Finally don't forget to take advantage of the 8pm special which is buy one get one free for shelf specialty slices (not regular slices).

I tried to put a new posting in December 2008 but it deleted my original recommendation from earlier this year.

When I was working in the area, I loved going to Pizza Suprema for lunch or an early dinner at least once a week. The place has a "Cheers" kind of feel. The owners and counter guys get to know you.

Now that I'm downtown in SoHo, I miss the delicious pizza on 8th Avenue between 30th and 31st Streets.

Twice in the last week I've been in the area to go to the post office but it was either too early or too late to get a slice. Hopefully next time my timing will be better.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to the staff of Pizza Suprema.

Coming from someone born and raised in Brooklyn who's eaten at every pizzeria imaginable. Including at some of the most "famous" joints, I gotta say that this is the best pizza I have ever had! I don't know why I never knew about it sooner, it's definitely the hidden treasure of pizzerias in NY. I really wish that I had known about it sooner. The pizza follows the old school traditional recipes which many pizzerias do not have. You're also getting this superb quality pizza at a cheaper price than what you would pay at these other so called pizzerias. The service is quick and friendly and it's right by Penn Station and the Garden. Do yourself a favor and drop by, order a regular, a sicilian, a white, a fresh mozz and basil, or the upside down slice, it's all amazing! Pizza Suprema you got me hooked baby!

A favorite of theMechanism since 2005. We refuse to celebrate Fridays in the office without a large cheese from Suprema. Friendly staff, great delivery folks and the right combination of slightly sweet sauce, tasty cheese, and a crispy, yet robust crust.

All other pizza joints must bow down to the "Mighty Suprema."

Great Pizza, fast service (even during lunch when they are really busy) and very clean. The Sicilian slice is delicious (and so is the regular slice). The fresh muzzeralla and basil is five stars! It is a family owned pizza place in tthe old world tradition.

Our office needed to order twenty-five pies for a critical meeting and we normally order from a pizzeria within our block however based on a recommendation we ordered from Pizza Suprema. Their thin crust pies were cooked to perfection, delicious when I ate my first slice I felt as if a party broke out in mouth, fantastic flavor. Our client was raving over the pizza and I passed on the word about Pizza Suprema to them as well.

I personally and professionally have tried a lot of other pizzas within New York and Pizza Suprema makes their pies the way it was originally made. Most places I have tried either the cheese was tasteless or the pizza tasted very dowey. Pizza Suprema has the perfect combination and if you get the pleasure of trying their pizza make sure you try their regular slice, it is out of this world. I also went crazy over the upside down slice as well. Try it for yourself and believe me you will not be disappointed.

When I eat is at this restaurant I feel like Im back in italy. This owner has the best pizza in the midtown area. I only eat at Ny Supreme Pizza everyweek, its the only pizza that this italian considers the closest to pizza in italy.

Folks, pizza doesn't get better than this! I've had pizza all over this city and this is the place to go and feed your craving for pizza. Everything they have is great! But to keep it simple and absolutely delicious, have the regular slice! From the thin crust, ample sauce to the first grade mozz. cheese, a slice of heaven on earth! If you like to mix it up a bit, have the white slice or fresh mozz. with basil slice. Then top it off with a meatball parm. roll! These are my personal favorites, but either way, whatever you get, you can't go wrong! It's family owned since the 60's and you can tell that this family put it's heart in its pizza!

I stopped by Pizza Suprema after work and got a slice and fell in love. The service was great and the pizza was sooo good! everything about it was superb, the crust, the sauce, the cheese, yum! I will def go back and get some more.

Grabbed a slice after a recent show at the Garden and it was awesome. You can really tell that they take their pizza seriously at this place, great ingredients and taste. This is what real NYC pizza is supposed to taste like, it's right up there at the top of my list.

This is the most absolute awesome pizza in the world! We live in Florida and when we visit the city, Pizza Suprema is the very first place we go and the last place we visit when we leave. The people working there speak Italian and this "no frills" pizza joint is all about the slice!!!

Stopped here after going to Climate 8 and they have a great over-the-counter price! It was half-off all pizzas that were on the counter. Pizza was good, owner was friendly and prices were great! If I'm in the area again and need a quick bite to eat, this will be the place to go.

Call it gravy, call it sauce, call it whatever you want. Suprema's slices are the best in the city because of the sauce. Ranger/Knick games or even a concert would not be complete without a stop over at Suprema. Pizza perfection every time. Make time to stop and eat at Suprema.

Located diagonally across from the Eighth Avenue/31st Street entrance to Penn Station, Pizza Suprema is an old fashioned, pizza-by-the-slice pizzeria that has the best pizza slice in the city.
