I brought an old pair of leather riding boots to the Shoe hospital and when I picked them up, I didn't even recognize them !! They were back in shape, leather holes all patched up, soles redone, I was impressed. Price was very reasonnable for the great work, a new pair of boots would have cost me over 200$ easy. I will definitely be back with more shoes and will recommend the shoe hospital to all my horse riding friends, our boots always need work !

Plattsburgh Shoe Hospital is a great shop to get your shoes repair. If your soles start to loosen or holes appear, this is the best place to go! It's a small shop that's designed 'olden' with a log-cabin feel. It adds a unique sense to the atmosphere. Inside, it's very clean and tidy and it smells nice. There are usually 1-3 employees at any given time, there doesn't need to be many more because there usually isn't crowds of people who appear. All of the employees I have met have been very nice and caring and do a good job making me laugh and enjoying myself. They are very knowledgable and were able to explain to me what needed to be done to fix my shoes (heel broke off!). They told me it would only take about 10 minutes, so, I spent the entire time talking to the clerk at the front desk who kept me entertained. Before I knew it, one of the repair men came out from the back with a fixed shoe! I tried it on and it worked great! To this date, almost 4 months now, the shoe holds up well and I still wear it with no problems whatsoever! The best part? The price. The whole procedure cost me less than 10 bucks! That's right, 10 bucks for a quality and long-lasting job. I was shocked. It doesn't look like it's repaired, it looks brand new. I can't recommend them enough, these people know how to get a job done!
