Ratings_icons Whatever you do, DON'T go for brunch.

temashana

Usually the food is good here. Granted I'd only ever eaten here for dinner. I went to brunch recently here and have to say it was one of the worst meals I've ever had. The OJ was some sort of sugary watery fake drink and they even put ice cubes in it - it was repulsive. I ordered the french toast, which was "encrusted" with something. I swear they took it from a freezer back, threw it in a deep fryer and then served it. It didn't even taste, or look like bread. I couldn't eat much of it even though I was starving.

Pros: none that I can think of

Cons: food, drink and service were all pretty bad

Ratings_icons Great Bar, Great Staff, Great Beers, Great Food, Thumbs Up All Around!

Johnny Foxes has become my favorite neighbourhood bar since the new management took over last year. They've changed what was an regular NYC bar into a happening place. Every night at Foxes is a good night out. They show all the major sporting events, the staff are really friendly, the food is great and they have a diverse beer selection.

I usually go to Foxes for the trivia night on Monday, the Martini night on Tuesday and for the Brunch Special over the weekends. I sometimes also go there on my way home in the evenings for a few pints. Their kitchen is open late at night, which is really clutch.

Johnny Foxes is a must!

Ratings_icons Excellent Pub/Restaurant!

grifdx

Johnny's is truly a great Irish Pub that kept the beer flowing all night. It has several large flat screen TV's for a guaranteed unobstructed view of your favorite sporting event. The staff were friendly and definitely knew the rule of "buy-backs." We have been back several times since and always receive the same friendly welcome. I would highly recommend this pub if you're looking to have a little bite to eat, or if you're looking for an all night bender where you drink until you forget. Great Juke Box as well!

Pros: Lots of Bars in the Area. Great Music

chrishays16

So it was Tuesday we walked in order a pint of Guinness and the bartender say happy Christmas turned to be the 2nd year Christmas party place is really nice that was me first time but not the last so we spend the whole night drinking we order some food it was very good
It was very nice experience we going back soon
thank you guys
Good job guys and happy New Year
Came here early on a Sunday morning to watch a soccer cup that wasn't on TV. I was pleased to see their $11.95 brunch which includes two drinks, I ordered the Crunch French Toast. It was one of the best I've had in NYC. It was delicious- I can't wait to go back! The guys I was with shared the Irish Breakfast, they liked it but complained the fries were a bit too greasy- I thought they were ok

Ratings_icons I wish i had two more hands so i could give this place four thumbs down

deeznutsinyourmouf

Felt as though i was invisible sitting at the bar. Almost impossible to get the bartenders attention away from his group of friends that were sitting at the front of the bar. I couldn't give away my money in this place if i tried. The TV's were nice if i didn't have to break my neck backwards to watch em. Another very generic bar on the upper east with a super average pub food menu that they worked really really hard on.

Pros: lotta beer

Cons: too many to list

Ratings_icons Overall enjoyable experience

stwinkle25

A very nice addition to the Upper East side, they have something for everybody on the menu from finger food to larger entrees. As a sports fan a great place to watch all the games there are flat screens everywhere a good view from every corner. Service was great at the bar and a really cute Irish bartender also. Good for groups to hang out or have a couple of tap beers at the bar.

Pros: Good service, Nice atmosphere, Great to watch games
