Both vets are knowledgable, caring and good at giving explanations in nontechnical terms.

Facility could use a complete overhaul from floor to ceiling.. Treatment rooms are not in good shape. Technician and receptionist are friendoly and caring.

The doctor is not friendly and is sometimes rough with the animals but he does know his stuff. He is not much of a conversationalist but has helped my animals through illnesses in the past.

The waiting room is tiny and there is just one room for both cats and dogs which can be a problems since it is so small.

There are only a few small rooms for animals to be seen in.

Procedures are pricey. My animals have been treated well as far as I can tell when needing to stay overnight.

There is nothing at all wrong with this practice, I just prefer a kinder, gentler veterinarian and one who explains a bit more and treats my animals in a more gentle way.

As far as expertise, I have never had a problem with this practice. It is all in what you want from your vet. With four cats and a dog, I want more than a few moments to discuss my options and someone who will let me know when he's leaving the room for good.

Good for a quick inoculation or flea treatment but I wouldn't go back for something serious. I travel to Cazenovia now to have my animals taken care of. The drive is worth it for the warmth and comfort I feel there.

PROS: They can usually squeeze you in during regular hours the same day
CONS: Vet isn't very friendly or communicative, can be very expensive
