L.A Dance in Staten island New York is a wonderful dancing school. the teachers are amazing and a great inspiration to the students. also, the students at l.a dance are very kind to each other and they care a lot about each other. The students are also very talented and in my opinion, they are the best dancers I've ever seen!

At age six and a half, my daughter just completed her third year of instruction at L.A. Dance in Staten Island. Her three years have been fun and informative, with the instructors giving the youngsters guidance while not making them feel like they were in school. Many of the dance groups come home with competition trophies throughout the year, and many individual dancers have been cast in Broadway shows.

The cost for the 2004-2005 season was $40 per month for a one hour class every Saturday, plus $85 for the costume, $15 for a rehearsal fee and $16 per recital ticket (with a minimum of four tickets purchased per child). The Ellis Street facility was opened in 2004 and though the studio is nice, parking can be next to impossible.

PROS: Great teachers.
CONS: Very little parking.
