Summary: While I haven't ordered any full pizzas from Cams yet, I have gone in on numerous occasions to get slices. While the everyday slice variety could be better (Cheese, Pepperoni, Mushroom), they do have Daily Special Slices and my guess would be that they'd throw peppers or other veggies on a cheese piece for you. The pieces I've had seemed fresh enough, although admittedly it'd be a bit hard to tell since they put them in an oven to crisp the crust and warm them up.

Price: The slices are a couple bucks and are pretty large. Two is always enough to fill me up.

Taste: Pretty standard pizza, and while it's not bland, it's not going to win any awards. It's a standard, thin-ish crust, light sauce pizza with a crispy crust. The specialty pieces I've had include Chicken Bacon Ranch and Cheeseburger, and both were good enough that I'd get again.

Atmosphere: The sit-down experience is decent, but sometimes it feels a little cramped. The floorplan, being a storefront in a historic district, isn't as spacious as you'd like it to be. Occasionally the tables are a little dirty, but nothing horrendous. Come at a slightly random time between meals though and none of this is a problem. The staff is always nice.

Overall: I live close and can walk, so perhaps I'm biased, but I really like Cams. I'd lean more towards the high end of a 4 if I hadn't been to the Cams in Irondequoit, which has 8 or so varieties every day for slices, including Buffalo Chicken. Still good though if you want a slice of crispy pizza!

Cams is awesome. If you are to order by the slice by walk-in, the slices are HUGE, and THIN. Really good pizza! Used to drive 7-10 miles both ways everyday for it. However, if you order a whole pizza, the slices aren't as big and as one reviewer mentioned, the crust does taste like cardboard =/. But the pizza is still best around. When compared to other places like Ciccino's, Palermo's, Marks Pizzeria. Mark's has thick, sloppy pizza (yuck), Ciccino's one day I walked in and viewed the single slices they had (cause Cams was closed on a Sunday so had to go to Ciccino's). The slices were not as big and they had bubbles! Cam's pizza NEVER has bubbles. So I turned around and walked out of Ciccino's. Palermo's pizza is good. Avicolli's in Seneca Falls is best pizza around if you're in the area. Same as Cams but tastier, I think they put some different sauce on it. It looks pink and its thin. Amazing sauce Avicolli's has. Its like authentic Italian spices, not just your regular Ragu. But back to Cam's ... ONE CON OF CAM'S I must add is they do not serve good specialty pizza at all. This is my complaint when I ordered a Buffalo Chicken Pizza. The pizza was oh my god I dont know where to begin, looked nothing like a typical pepperoni pizza. The CHEESE was dry and curdly. Pizza looked like the plain white garlic cheese. Not melty and yellow like a normal Pepperoni pizza is (we ordered 2 pizza's and some wings that night and I compared the differences of the two pizzas to my family and big difference). The chicken they had on it there was absolutely nothing meaty about it, just burnt greasy chicken skin is how I put it that night. Seriously. They said they put mild sauce on the pizza but I tasted nothing (after calling them to complain about this dry absolutely TASTELESS pizza, they said they have lots of butter in the mild sauce so I may not be able to taste it LOL. And ... they dont supply the pizza with blue cheese unless you request it and pay extra! So I received a white garlic cheese, greasy chicken skin pizza with no sauce. I travel a lot and Ive had my share of buffalo chicken pizza. This was beyond belief. I wanted my money back, after talking to their manager they said because they made the pizza the way they do, they can only offer 10% off on my next purchase. I told them I'll just eat elsewhere and so I started ordering from Palermo's (Palermo's doesnt deliver to Geneva though but Im in Border City next to Hess and they do deliver). We purchased 2 pizzas that night and 2 dozen wings ... I cut up the chicken wings and poured blue cheese on the pizza and showed the family now THATS a chicken wing pizza. So you're much better off doing it like that. Still didnt taste good cause there was no sauce on pizza and cheese was so dry. Made me sick and full afterwards. But I still order pizza and subs from Cams. Today I ordered a philly cheese steak with everything on it (peppers, onions, lettuce, mozzarella, mayonaisse, and tomato) and I was in HEAVEN. I was full after eating half of the large sub and thats equivalent to 4 slices pizza to me. Yesterday I ordered one without the mayo and tomato and it tasted dry so today I tried the mayo thinking mayo on a cheese steak sub? Disgusting. But it added SO much taste to it and it was literally the best sub I've ever had. I order out every day and I plan on eating one of these a day. Tried getting a second one today but they closed early on Sunday. Walk in and ask for a slice of cheese or pepperoni pizza you'll understand why Cams has great pizza.

One time I went in and got a slice. I noticed a bug was on my slice of pizza. I took it back to the counter and showed them. They told me that I could not get another slice or my money back. I definitely WOULD NOT recommend this place to anyone.

Cam's has the BEST wings in town. Their pizza is best when served fresh as opposed to buying by the slice. Their portions are HUGE and made to order. They have never messed my order up either. I would strongly recommend cam's to anyone looking for authentic NY style pizza. They also have fried dough and subs that are reasonably priced.

PROS: Big portions and great tasting
CONS: slow delivery

Yes I am one of the "young crowd" and I happen to like ny city style pizza (which as it turns out happens to be thin!). This is one of the only places I will go around here, because it is actually reasonable NY city style pizza. Most of the local places have poor crust covered with sauce that makes me want to ralph (Mark's is a good example). So, perhaps that other reviewer should get her pizza from a place that does not attempt to make ny city style pizza and she will be more pleased. I certainly would not go to an italian resturant and expect to get good mexican food there, but aparently she would.

PROS: crust, sauce, NY city style
CONS: does not deliver to my house

For some reason this place DOES do business from mostly the younger crowd, why I don't know . You end up waiting an hour and a half to have a pizza delivered in town! Everytime I have eaten a pizza from this place I am sick! The crust is like eating cardboard and maybe the ingredients aren't fresh?
