Best BBQ my husband and I have ever had! We've been to different BBQ restaurants all over the county and we've never had ribs and pork like this. Price was right too

I go out to eat a lot and generally can tolerate marginal food preparation, slow service, etc. However, I can;t stand it when the food you were just served is cold (I send french fries back at fast food restaurants if they are cold)

My wife an I ordered pulled pork and chicken platters for takeout to eat in the Clarence town Park. No forks or napkins in the bag and, when I arrived, the food was already bagged up behind the bar. As you might expect, the food was cold. Not what I would expect for $14.00 a dinner.

The pulled pork was "adequate", but was cold. The chicken tasted like I baked it at home with no seasoning and then cut it up and mixed it in BBQ sauce. The "salad" that came with my dinner tasted no better than one I might pour out of a bag when I am in a real hurry.

Two thumbs down, way down. Drive into the city (and save some money you would otherwise be wasting doing it) and go to Fat Bob's. In the end, you'll be a lot happier.

Pros: Nice drive to Clarence on a sunny day

Cons: It's the food stupid....

We went to the Valley Inn about 1 month ago because we got a coupon for their restaurant in the mail and we wanted to try something new so we drove 10 miles from Cheektowaga to check it out. When we got there, the dining area was very small, but that was OK because there was only one other table besides us so they were not busy at all and we were excited because we were STARVING!. We ordered an appetizer to get things moving, and two dinners right away. After waiting nearly an hour and receiving very little attention from our waiter to address why our food was taking so long, he brought out our DINNERS. We asked what happened to our appetizer??? He said he FORGOT to put the order in! So, while we were sitting there practically chewing our thumbs off waiting and waiting ever so patiently (well we did make a few loud comments about how hungry we were in the nearly empty dining room to try to give the waiter the hint after about 30 minutes or so) he "forgot" to put the order in. So, we were so hungry at that point we just wanted ot eat the dinners and we just figured we would reflect our displeasure in his tip. So, we start eating and that was when it all became clear that the Ribs and fish had been COOKING THE ENTIRE HOUR WE WERE WAITING! Both the ribs and fish were WAY OVERCOOKED. We mentioned this to the waiter and he did not even offer an apology, but we ended up getting some sort of a discount and paid $20 for our 2 beers and 2 awful, overcooked dinners we had to eat because we were starving, but by that point, we were so unhappy with the meal that I left absolutely NO TIP, and I was so upset at how awful our evening turned out, that I LITERALLY cried as we were leaving because I had just wanted to treat my man to a nice dinner and it was so awful! I Do NOT recommend this place at ALL

I have only had take out from the Valley Inn Restaurant and Catering Company. The ribs I had were too tender for my taste . The sauce was very different then at other restaurants

This restaurant I definetly would not recommend. The menu was not very clear and understandable. The french onion soup was not the greatess and not worth the money. I feel that the dinners were prices too high for what you received. Dinners did not look appetizing at all.
The only thing that I can say nice is that we had a very understanding waitress.
The mens room had a very bad leak and was very dirty along with the ladies room.
I give this restaurant a 0 rating.

Pros: no pros to be given

Cons: what a waste of my money
