This store deserves a recommendation for their skills at taking care of the animals they sell. I got mine from here and I am so happy.

The only reason I am giving 1 star is because there is no option to give NO STARS.\n\nIF YOU LOVE YOUR PET, DO NOT BRING THEM TO THE GROOMER HERE WHATSOEVER.\n\nI trusted my dog to be taken care of when left for a grooming. They told me to call around 3 hours later to see if she was ready. I call & they tell me ""Oh ummm... so she's pretty much ready but... um... while i was cutting her hair, she was a little active & got her paw pad cut"" . There was no ""Oh i'm sorry but I cut your dog's paw pad because..."" NO APOLOGY WHATSOEVER. I don't care if my dog was a little bit active, you're supposed specialists & you were supposed to have plenty of experience. She continued to make it sound like it was my dog's fault and she had nothing to do with it. Excuse me, YOU were the one holding the scissors. I'm not saying my dog is at NO fault but PLEASE TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR OWN ACTIONS ALSO.\n\nThey did not call me when the accident happened. Wouldn't the responsible thing be to call the owner so that they are aware of what happened and can take action, whether it is to run over to the hospital or not? \n\nI go into the store and there is no ""hello"" or anything else... as soon as the groomer sees me, she says ""OH she was moving around too much and had a little accident.""\n\nIn my opinion, the professional thing would be to say, ""Oh, I'm sorry but an accident happened while I was cutting her hair. She was a little active and i snipped by accident"". There was ABSOLUTELY NO sense of responsibility.\n\nThen I asked for what happened in writing so that once I take her to the hospital, not only will the bills be taken care of but also IF... GOD PLEASE FORBID... something were to happen to my dog, PETCO, the hospital, and I would all be aware that it would be PETCO's fault. They refused to provide any kind of paperwork. \n\nWhen I told them that I refused to go anywhere without proof that they acknowledge that they harmed my dog, they told me they would write up an incident report. They also said that the incident report is electronically submitted so they would not be able to provide me with any physical proof. When I asked what kind of proof do I have then that you guys admit that you harmed my dog, the manager told me, ""Because we trust you and you trust us"". WRONG. I trustED you. And after my dog has been bleeding for over 2 hours, I of course do not and will not ever trust you.\n\nI asked for them to then physically write a letter themselves, addressed to me, stating that they harmed my dog and would take full responsibility. They refused to do that also.\n\nONLY AFTER I yelled on the top of my lungs in the middle of the store did they finally decide to provide me with an ""incident number"" because they didn't want customers to continue to see me yelling about how irresponsible they are. And one of their main concerns was that I may possibly sue them. \n\nBottom line, cuts and bruises can clearly happen. That's understandable. BUT once you show absolutely NO sense of responsibility for your actions and try to give me an attitude and make it seem like it was 100% my dog's fault, that's when we have problems. \n

I have always been going to this Petco for a number of years and I find it to be very reasonable price ranges and my dogs love when I come home with a special treat from this store. The store staff is very knowledgeable about where a particular item is in the store and know the names of the items even if you the customer does not. They have a grooming and a training service but I have not used them for that purpose but I would think about it though. If you have the Petco PALS card you can get a good discount if you use the store a lot. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for friendly service with a smile.

I love shopping her for my puppy. They have a huge selection of items. The staff is very friendly and they know what you are talking about even if you don't have a name. They guide you in a direction for you to choose some of the products that you like. The show you alternatives to other items that can be subsituted for another. Very friendly and shows concern about any issues that may arise with you and your pet. I love them. They have a huge selection of toys and costumes for any pet. I like them. The also are great with discounts and special, whether online or off. This store really rocks. That is for pets.
