all eaglefeather cares about is money, he charges outragous rates like money grows on trees.he knows he has you by the wallet because you love your pet.I wouldn't bring a goldfish to him!
600.00 $ for three xrays, really???? oh but the first two where just for "ballpark" estimates . when I complained he said he would review the charges and take some money off, he took 20 $ off. really???what a crook !!!! NEVER AGAIN !! as far as I'm concerned he's a criminal because to me thats stealing ! oh ya, when I declined he said if your dog loses weight he might be fine, 600 no wait 580 $ for that. what would you think ?

I'm not impressed with this vet. We found a young injured bird. The bird expert I called said it needed to go to a vet, now!. Dr. Eagle Feather didn't care, and we were told we would have to pay. He reffered us to a crazy woman named Rosemary Maglienti who didn't want to help and was, "done for the day". She lied and said the bird didn't seem injured and she yelled at for about 45 minutes and told us to take him home. The bird was dead in the morning. These people are money-hungry selfish people.

I have been going to the Eagles Nest with my dog Sara for 9 years and I cannot express how wonderful Dr. Eaglefeather and his staff are! Everyone is helpful, kind, considerate and professional. They are the best. I trust Dr. E. and his staff to do the very best for my dog.

What can I say? We started going there 1 1/2 yrs ago because they do so much work for the wildlife rehabbers in the area & heard exceptional things about them. Our precious cocker spaniel is there now recovering from surgery & she is not only receiving expert care but also a lot of loving. To comment on the previous post about cleanliness, the place is so clean that I was lying on the floor w/her in one of the examining rooms yesterday during our visit. Over the past week, we had several visits in their lovely family room, complete w/carpet, couch, cd player, etc. We had used two different vets since moving here 10 yrs ago prior to starting here & they both misdiagnosed potentially severe illnesses. Samantha was very sick & Dr. Cashman was very supportive in what decision we made & was very clear that to proceed w/surgery would be very expensive. She told us that there was no wrong decision should we be unable to have her get the necessary surgery & had to say good bye to her. She referred her over to the Vt. Vet. Surgical Ctr. because it was very specialized surgery w/only a 50% survival rate. I appreciate that they refer animals out when necessary. She was over there 1 night & then came back to Eagle's Nest for her post-op care. They have taken the time to really get to know her & I know she's getting a lot of loving. I was out of town when my husband had to rush her there & Dr. Cashman met us there that night so I could see her as she was very ill.
Last winter, we were in Fl when our other little guy became ill & we didn't have a vet down there. Only our cocker had been in for a visit to E.N. at that point. We went to the local vet but I wasn't entirely comfortable & Dr. King spoke w/me several times at length for no charge. One of the 3 Dr.s are on call 24/7. I am very cautious about who I entrust my "babies" care to & know they are receiving the best of care there. We look forward to Samantha returning home soon! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

i just went to Shadow Dr. E he is amazing and so much fun to be around... the most important thing i learned was if you want to be a vet you have to like people because in all his 20 years of being a vet he has yet to see a dog or cat drive themselves to the hospital... and hes never seen a pet pay its own bill....

We have gone to three different clinics in the 9 years been pet owners and this clinic is by far our favorite. We have two dogs (had a cat as well) and we bring them for all their medical needs. The staff at Eagle's nest is efficient, organized and kind. The veterinarians are amazing and so are the techs. It is very clear from the all aspects of this clinic that they truly care about the animals. Dr. King was with us when we had to euthanize our cat and she was very compassionate and helpful. It is also extremely clean and is the only veterinary clinic I've ever been in that smells good. I would recommend them to everyone.
