My cousin had her wedding reception here. The banquet room was large and that's about all the nice things I have to say about the location. My family and I decided to set things up the day before, the owner stood over our shoulders the entire time counting down the time we had until he kicked us out.. He was very condescending and unhelpful to say the least. The day of the wedding the dj which was the one that the owner told us we had to use or he would charge us more was two hours late!!! We had to do the introductions ourselves!! On top of that, they forgot to have champagne at the head table, so when the toasts were made they got the luxury of water! We also brought some of our own deserts and we asked them to bring them out when it was time, well that time had come and past and when we asked for them to put out the deserts they literally threw them on the table in the carrying tray. The best part of all was the dj was late, due to this the wedding was about an hour later than originally anticipated and when it came to take everything down he charged the bride an extra hundred dolllars because it took us an hour to take everything down. Not to mention he stood there and watched us the entire time we took everything down, like we were going to steal something. No one helped us at all. It was a very disappointing experience to say the least.

I had my wedding there on May 31st 2009. The Gregor's are so friendly. I love that you get the place to yourself for the whole day and they put up on the outside sign your names. They have a huge Bridal room where you can get ready. The hall is huge, the sound system wonderful. The food was great. I had a Medieval themed wedding and had friends bring in banners and props which they were allowed to hang. The dance floor is a good size and the bar is great. I highly recommend Gregor's Garden Grove, the price is right and the atmosphere very friendly. The Gregor's make you feel right at home.

I have both attended and held several events at Gregor's Garden Grove; including weddings, PTA installments, holiday parties, a high school reunion, birthday parties and even a Bat Mitzvah! As a guest there I was impressed by the service. The food is aways delicious. As a host for various events I found Keith and Diane to be both accommodating and extremely professional. It is without any apprehension that I recommend Gregor's Garden Grove.

We had our wedding here in September '08. The owners are rude, easily flustered, and not very friendly, mostly *after* you pay in full. We've had guests coming up to us for days now with various comments and concerns, none of them positive. Just one example: Guest: May I have some more potatoes? Diane: Pfft. Ask your server. Guest: Well I haven't seen my server, I thought you were my server. Diane: *walks away* Also, I thoroughly enjoyed being paid in full and, on the day of our wedding, being told we have to shell out yet more money for chairs to be set up outside. I thought this was an outdoor wedding to begin with. They said they'd supply the centerpieces, but upon inspection of our own snapped pictures post-wedding, we found none. I guess we should have upgraded, in this case 'upgrade' meaning 'getting any in the first place.' The DJ *they* brought in was uninspired, and played things we specifically requested he not play. We told him beforehand, "I'm a little bit rock, she's a little bit country." Classic, 70's rock and country. So what does he play? 80's pop, which is neither classic rock nor country. All in all, the place was chaotic, the staff was caustic, and the DJ was trapped in a Hugh Grant movie. You're better off spending your money elsewhere. And what are we to do about this now? Complain? Maybe get a hundred bucks off your *next* wedding? Oh yeah, and the reception room looks and smells for the life of me like a funeral parlor.

And yes, the food was delicious, but the service was so terrible that it seriously impacted any enjoyment of said food.

Pros: The food, the only thing saving this review from being ZERO stars. Food was quite good, if you could get anybody to serve it to you.

Cons: Service, planning, execution, everything you'd expect them to be competant at, they were not.
