On Location Auto Repair Inc

I found On Location a few years ago because they were the only shop I could find in the NY/NJ area who could change my oil with Amsoil, which I have been using for years. I took a chance and drove about 45 minutes to get there from Northern NJ but it was well worth the commute, and I've been going to them ever since. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful, and most importantly to someone who was new to the area and didn't know of any mechanics, they are trustworthy. Not being a car expert myself I was wary of getting scammed but On Location is extremely honest and straightforward about what work needs to be done, and if it doesn't need anything, they'll tell you. I highly recommend them and will keep going there despite the trek from where I live. It's worth it.

On location is the most honest and trust worthy automotive repair shop on Staten Island. I have been using them for almost 4 years now and never once was a duped in to spending more then I need to for a repair or if the repair was even necessary .I had a old car when I started going there which needed lots of work the 2 owners of the shop had looked at the car over and told me that it would be to expensive to fix the car and its not worth it. When another repair shop I originally when to told me its worth fixing and it would cost a lot. I did not fix the car but when I bought a used car soon after the owner of the shop looked at the car for me before I bought he looked it over for over 45 mins and did not charge me a penny. They get a lot of business and for good reason they are always honest and will never steer you wrong. There are a lot of shops that will try to take advantage of the average consumer but not on location you can count on them every time. They are also very fast and will have your car on the road in no time flat.

CONS: some times there are alot of cars for them to work on befor yours
