I have done both Happy Hour and late nite bottle service. A bit overpriced for bottles, but absolutely the MOST underrated Happy Hour in NYC. $2.00 Budweisers speak for themselves and the food (read: wings) are surprisingly very tasty. I have not been impressed with the girls, but then again, I am not that into the hipster type so I may not be the best source. still waiting for axl to roll in so that I can buy him a $2 Bud, but I guess that he would first have to (a) bury the hatchet w/ GnR and (b) actually show his face in public. It doesn't matter though...he is still my hero.

P.S. To all you "rock purists"/hipsters that get pissed at the sight of me in my suit, I have one thing to say: I was cooler than you in highschool and I am cooler than you now.

Pros: Great Happy Hour, Friendly Bartenders

Cons: Too Packed Late Nite

Went here recently to celebrate a friend's birthday and we got a table and bottle service. I was a bit suprised at the end of the night at the total cost of the evening, but then again, I've never had bottle service before. The band that played that Friday night was from the dc area and rocked the place. The dj was awesome and played a mixture of different types of rock. The crowd was a mixture of true fans and those pulled out by their friends to this bar I'd never heard of before. And I have to say- I enjoyed every moment of that night so much that I have been going there to see the staff I met all those weeks before. Definitely not somewhere I would have chosen, but loving it now!

Pros: live area bands, the dj, open late (or early)

Cons: tables are expensive

.

A decent location doesn't give ANY bar the excuse to charge 9 bucks a shot. When the look of shock appeared on my face the bartender said, "Hon, this is NYC, 9 bucks is cheap." I've lived here for years and strongly disagree. Even worse was the fact that the shot she made us was a kamakazee...not even a hard one. When the bartenders added an automatic 20% gratuity to my friends bar tab, it left an even worse taste than that overpriced shot. I wont be going back and you shouldnt waste ur time and money.

This was a great place to show up around 1:30 AM to. We were sick of the bar we were at so strolled down west 21st to Snitch. NOW, if you love bon jovi and springsteen, but laugh at frat boys who dance and sing to it, this is the place for you. The crowd was friendly and outgoing, not frat boyish at all thank god-and just truly loved the zeppelin and clapton being played. I LOVED it:-D

wouldn't recommend going if there's a band playing. TOTALLY recommend going just for the great dj

Pros: Musis, Hot Staff

If you're a band don't play here. If you're supposed to see a band, know it will be terrible - the sound, the setup, the crowd, the staff. can't say enough bad things about this place.

Pros: none at all

Cons: terrible sound, stage faces one table, every single thing

this self-proclaimed "rock & roll sports bar" is the place to be if you want matt pinfield and his shiny pate to make your ears bleed from 11pm-3am on wednesdays. ornamented with 20 flat screen tvs (they're the new fail-safe for well-connected aspiring interior designer flunkies), a dinky disco ball, $5 budweisers, a curtained strip club stage, and a stale pop rock soundtrack, snitch is a rock bar that doesn't respect its roots. everyone knows true rock & rollers are too busy busting their butts to give a twitching yelping neutered chihuahua about sports. the rude bullying self-important bouncers who nearly beat up my friends as they were leaving were included free of charge.

I went to Snitch for the first time on Friday and had such an amazing time I went back on Saturday. The place was guestlist only and packed out both nights. However, the doorman was adorably polite and let my friend and I in without at hitch. Once inside, the bands were pretty hots and The WildBoys on the flat screens keep you amused inbetween sets and the DJ even took a few of our requests. Hardest part was getting a drink at the bar, I almost totally lost my buzz waiting so long. But the bartender, John was so nice that it was worth waiting. Overall, I wish there were more spots like this in NY, since there aren't I will be a regular at Snitch.

The DJ on Saturday night played the sickest, wildest, kick-the-door-down, rock & roll mix ever. I was a bit put off by the $15 cover charge since it's a bit steep for a rock bar with just a DJ. But this DJ was worth $25. It was more rockin than most concerts. The music brought everyone together and it was like a rock video. Sick time. See you there. Mixed crowd of just about every type of person. I'm almost walked at first site but stuck with it and partied all night long. All lit up again...

Pros: Music, Prices

Cons: TVs on

We all had a great time. The mac and cheese is great but they had no desserts that night. Also, we were there at 8:30, place was empty and they had no red wine and just 1 glass of white left. I drank beer the rest of the night. The music is great, NY's answer to The Viper Room. We were up and dancing to Motley Crue, Power Station, Ratt. I love this place!

I was there on Friday night and we had a blast. The music is awesome - new & old rock. The main floor can get crowded - but if you can manage to get a table - the waitresses treat you well! You won't find another party like this in the city.

Tried to get in on a weekend night with 13 ppl & was refused entry due to not being on one of '3' guest lists they had. Rude staff, save yourself the trouble...this is NOT a sports bar, A-list elitists allowed b4 u, while u shiver in the cold. Total waste of time.

Pros: snob heaven, tons of limo parking, more limo parking

Cons: , need2knoNicoleRitchie, Neeknow Brittney

Sports Bar with guest lists? Nasty attitude at the door. good luck trying to get in if you don't get on a guest list. I agree with the first review, way too many good bars in NYC to even bother waiting in line to get into this one. And if you're a rock & roll fan, don't expect to see the rock & roll type crowd going in this place. just a bunch of wall street types with their tacky girlfriends going into here. Too bad some good musicians are associated with this place.

I attended Snitch's new year's eve party and had a great time! The place is small but has a great atmosphere. I was a little disappointed because we thought Fuel was going to show up and play concidering they own the bar. But hey, who can blaime them. They want to party too! The people were mixed and really freindly and there's a good dance floor to grove to the 80's.

Snitch is the perfect place to go if your looking for a great bar to have a great time in. It's the best Rock and Roll Bar I have ever been to. The drinks are great, the staff is HOT, the music is the best selection of Rock, and I liked the crowd. What you see is what you get at Snitch, and that's a great time. This is also a great place to meet someone!

No biggie, nice setup there. $$$$$ for warm Bud. DJ can't fade and blend. Although the tune he broadcasted were pretty good. Saw this poseur start acting thuggish when hip-hop was played. Nice sound systems. The sign said sports bar but cartoons from the 60's were running in the plasma screens.
