I would never go here again. This salon gives appalling service, especially for mani/pedi that costs $39. First, I tried to pick a nail color but they wouldn't give me even 1 minute. One girl came up and made some suggestions so I asked her I'm looking for a neutral/flesh toned color. She murmured under her breath "if you want flesh color, you'd better pick black"... And I'm Korean! Then when I was on the chair, the person doing my nails began talking more cr@p about me with her colleague in Korean, all the while not even bothering to check that I'm Korean and can understand every word they said. Of course this was far from relaxing but I kept quiet because I didn't want to get into it with these people. Then, they asked me to pay before they finished my nails and when they saw that I tipped less than 20% (I wonder why), they all surrounded me and said to the person doing my nails "mess up her nails, make them ugly!" They proceeded to say "look at her, she isn't wearing any diamonds or jewelry and she doesn't have nice shoes, no wonder she's so cheap." Did it occur to them that I left my jewelry at home since I was getting a manicure?! And that I was wearing flip flops since I was getting a pedicure?!

It was a terrible experience and I will never go there again. The place was empty when I went, which isn't surprising given their terrible service.

Do not go here unless you want to be harrassed by 10 women talking cr@p about you to your face.

If you are the business owner of this establishment and happen to be reading this, I suggest you have a talk with your employees about talking cr@p about your customers to their face and encouraging one another to "mess up" your customers' nails. You seem like a new business and you should remember that there are countless nail salons all around you, offering better service for a much lower price. I hesitated from writing a bad review since I hate to give a bad review for a fellow Korean, but this was too horrible an experience to let go unnoticed.

Pros: decent job on the nails

Cons: the staff sit around talking cr@p about you

This is the only place I ever go to get a mani/pedi in the city and yay! I get to go again this weekend using a LuxeNow.co.m gift card (never heard of it but you can use it at hundreds of nail salons around the city ?? good stuff, awesome gift). Beautiful and girlie environment, all the equipment is really well sterilized, and the staff is suuuper sweet and nice. They do terrific french manicure/pedicures.

I have had my nails done there twice. . Both women did an excellent job. Very nice manicure, excellent paint job, shape, cuticles, everything. It is very clean & sanitary (unlike most in NYC) and pleasant. They are not rude at all! I will definitely go back again.

i've been going to nails noble on 28th & park for at least 3 years. it's no rescue beauty salon, but it's not one of those cheap scary places either -- it's a nice in-between for those of us who don't like to pay a lot but don't want to go anywhere sketchy. what has kept me going back to nail's noble are the prices and the quality of their sanitation methods, as well as their careful attention to doing your nails right -- no lumpiness or air bubbles when they polish your nails, no abused cuticles or uneven filing shapes. you can get a basic manicure for about $13, and a pedicure for about $25. they sanitize their tools using ultraviolet light boxes, but if you want you can also bring your own tools and they store them there for you with your name on the bag. they do a very good job, but if you have a complaint, they will fix it -- i've told them to refile a nail or repolish a nail at times because i messed it up and they do it without attitude. they offer chair massages after your mani or pedi, and they also have a downstairs area where they do waxing. i've been getting my brazilian waxes done there for a while too and they always do them well, not abusing your skin like some places but still getting every single hair off the skin, without too much pain. the staff are nice and i have always had a pleasant experience there.

Pros: quick, sanitary manis, pedis and waxing

Cons: closed on sundays

I went for a pedicure which is normally $25. The lady doing my pedicure asked me if i wanted my legs/feet massaged during the pedicure and then proceeded to charge me an extra $22 for it. They did not even listen to my complaint and made me pay the extra money, although i did not understand i was going to be charged for the lotion/BRIEF massage before accepting it. The pedicurist actually raised her voice with me and had an attitude about it when i said i shouldn't be charged!!!!
The quality of the pedicure was not even very good, so i really do not recommend this place!!!!

Pros: OK atmosphere, seemed clean

Cons: Prices are expensive for the service and quality you get, TERRIBLY RUDE STAFF

I totally disagree w/ the below comment. I got right in, no wait (on a Friday night I might add... unheard of in NYC). A little bit more expensive than other cheapy places but it's totally worth it because your manicure will last for weeks. I was leaving the next day for a vacation in Florida and my nails didn't chip for 2 weeks (and I was in the ocean). My pedicure lasted a month. I love this place, would recommend it to anyone.

Pros: long lasting mani/pedi

Cons: little more expensive, but only by like 5 bucks

.

It's not cheap. It's not great quality. But it is the fastest manicure in the neighborhood. Plus, they are open until 9, when a lot of the nearby places close at 8.
