We were seated at 6:42. The wait staff regretfully informed us at 7:20 that they were out of fish for the fish fry. At 7:45, we were informed they were out of baked potatoes. We asked to see the owner, who informed us they were slammed. We were the only patrons sitting in an entire section at 6:42! Advised the owner this was unforgiveable, no comps were offered, no apologies offered, just lame excuses. My husband paid $12.95 for 6 shrimp, no price adjustment for the lack of potato. This is a less than 1 star rating....
Besides the fact that my broiled halibut was undercooked and swimming in water, it was so noisy with screaming kids and babies that I won't go back. I love kids, but I would suggest that the restaurant put all the screaming kids and their families in the back room so everyone else can enjoy their dinner in peace.
Great food with a lot of variety and good specials, all at very reasonable prices. The prime rib and filet mignon are expecially scrumptious!! Relaxed setting with friendly, helpful, more than competent staff. There's a full bar on the premises, but the atmosphere is not like eating IN a bar and the ambience (and noise level) have it way over places like Applebee's or Ruby Tuesday's, where it's often difficult to just carry on a conversation with the person next to you. Holiday buffets are FANTASTIC, too. A wonderful alternative to the mushrooming chain restaurants in Henrietta!!!!
