$17 wow....that person has to check the menu (online..btw) the highest priced dish is less than $15 and that's the shirimp or calamari with pasta and soup.....
pizza is great..not brick oven...but pretty good...garlic knots are the best (my friends all love them)
its a small place but u'd be surprised how busy it gets at times....
in any case....just try it yourself if u want to know what its like

Pros: its near the train, there's parking on the street, and good food

Cons: small and not very updated

This is a great little family place! The food tastes so fresh and home-made! I've tried the baked clams, eggplant rollatine, and garlic bread, and I always use the bread to mop up the delicious sauce. For entree, I really like the broiled filet of sole, the chicken francese, and of course, the veal cutlet parmesan. Their lemon-butter sauce is just right, not not too heavy, with lots of wonderful herb flavor. As for the bad review on the penne alla vodka, some of their dishes are not as great as others, but that won't stop me from trying the whole menu. I've not found many other places with this kind of authentic taste for such a reasonable price. I've also found their wait staff to be really nice as well - my waitress already knows my favorites!

Pros: Food, food, food. Good service, street parking nearby, nice family atmosphere

Cons: not all the dishes are superb - gotta know what to order

When you receive horrible food you just have to share your experience and worn the others. One evening night i've ordered some penne ala vodka to my surprise what i received was just dry pasta with some specs of tomato and on the very bottom some white cream water that did not resemble, smelled or tasted anything like vodka sauce. To top my experience when I told the owner/manager about the food hoping that maybe this have been some kind of mistake - the owner told me that is how vodka sauce looks like and he was mad that i complained! He was arguing with me and was absolutely rude! I was stunned! I love food and was in the food industry myself, but this is nothing like i've ever experienced!! The owner should really take some anger management class and may i suggest a much needed culinary class! And if the owner ever cares to read this review - to make vodka sauce you do need tomato sauce to start! Please to all those who want to eat in this so called restaurant - please save your money or go to another place and there are plenty that will appreciate you as a customer and will give you a much better food for your money. ($17)

Pros: there is none

Cons: horrible food, horrible service

Primadonna is by far one of the best restaurants in Forest Hills. The Italian food is delicious and the prices are fairly reasonable considering the quality of the food and the portions . The salad bar is great and the service is good. The restaurant is not really decorated and looks more like a standard pizza joint but the food is first rate. Truly a "hidden gem" in Forest Hills. Try it! You'll find out just what you've been missing.

PROS: Best Italian Restaurant in Forest Hills
CONS: If you want fancy decor, then this isan't the place for you
