Remarkable Movers

I cannot recommend this company. I find the number of positive reviews to be very suspicious - friends or fake I would guess. They took 14 hours to move a two bedroom 900 sq ft. apartment. When my husband came home at 7PM (they started at 9 AM) and saw the truck just sitting there with no one unpacking anything he was flabbergasted! They were no where to be found. They took the legs off of a $5k leather sofa when they put it on the truck and when they delivered it, spent two hours (charging me $125/hour for) trying to "TAPE" them back on?? I had to hire another company to fix the legs, the bolts had been lost inside the sofa because they had not known how to remove the legs properly. When I called "Mike", who would not give me his last name, he said it was not their problem, I emailed him asking for his NAME and some compensation for a move that took twice as long, had graphic damage to furniture, walls (that were just painted and have to be painted again) and this was his reply.... "Hi ,
you have a contact & on it there is the name of the company - also as you say , you hire on your own extra help - our movers was not responsible for the damage - your extra help did it , the Management ."

Notice his careful use of the English language. Oh, we had to pay the maintenance guys in the building to help them because his guys were too slow and the building will not let you use the elevators after 11 PM (the move started at 9 AM!!!) - he is claiming the maintenance guys did the damage. I know for a fact they did not take the legs off the sofa.
These guys are SCAM artists, they will open under a different name within a month, but until then I hope you heed this and learn by my mistake.

All I can say is WOW. After losing my mom to cancer I was completely lost. Speaking to your office staff and getting my moms things moved to family members made life much easier for all of us. Thank you for your understanding and especially for your professionalism.

The movers arrived at my door on-time and were all very professional and courteous. They moved my antique mirror and end tables and several other very valuable and irreplaceable items perfectly. They never stopped working until the move was completed. Remarkable Movers did a great job. Thank you,
The job was performed on time and professionally. Mike and James, the movers, were very hard working and clean cut. They gave me a change of address check list form that i found very helpful.

This is an additional letter of commendation for your company personnel in general, Mike and James specifically, for the efficient and exceptionally good care they provided for my shipment to New Jersey.

The items shipped arrived in a timely manner and was well coordinated on arrival in New Jersey. Our family is grateful for the service and cares your company provided us in this transaction.

As a retired military member I went thru a number of moves from station to station during my career. None of these moving companiess provided service that came close to matching the service provided by your company.

The actual furnature movers were cooperative and professional. I also asked to have the company pack most of my belongings. The packer was slow and when I finished unpacking I discovered that most of the boxes were only partially filled . They charge by the box and the packing more than doubled the cost of the move. I felt cheated.
I can recommend using this company for a move, however have them pack at your own peril.
