My 10 year old daughter and I joined the Island Swim Club in 2005 have have had the best summers ever since! My daughter enjoys all the children she has met there and loves playing in the pool, in the play ground and on the tennis court. This was the best investment I ever made.

We joined the Swim Club in the middle of July, 2008, and at the end of the 2008 season, we became permanent members. The grounds are spacious, and even with many tables and chairs surrounding the main pool, one does not feel crowded. Each family has a private cabana, which comes in very handily to store towels, lounge chairs, extra bathing suits, and whatever else one may need. There is a separate area for young children. There is a large round pool with a water level of 12". There are swings, a small kiddie gym and doll houses. This area is entirely fenced in.The large pool has a diving area with a depth of 15 feet, a roped off swimming area for those who do lap-swimming, and the remainder of the pool, which is quite large has a 3 foot depth around the periphery of the pool, which gradually deepens to 5 feet in the center of the pool. In addition, one can play tennis, handball or paddle ball, basket ball, or shuffle board. There is also a food court where one can purchase food, or one can bring food from home. The ladies' room and the men's rooms have been completely renovated. There are individual showers, a baby changing table for the little ones, and new bathroom stalls. The ladies' room also has a lovely counter with 2 new sinks and modern faucets. In addition to swimming, one can also just relax and read, or sleep, or become acquainted with the many other members, who will become new and lasting friends. I have made many new friends in the short time I have belonged to the Island Swim Club. I recommend that anyone who reads this review come and visit us and see what a wonderful experience this can be.
