I have been coming to this pet store for well over 15 years, and I would definitely have to say that this is "by far" the best fish store. They have a HUGE selection of both freshwater and saltwater fish. I have visited many other fish stores around, but this one tops them all for sure. Also the employees are very honest and knowledgeable, which is a big help. They have never steered me wrong. A+++

i have had fish tanks my whole life and have always loved the hobbie,people in the fish area at pet world know what they are talking about and are very helpfull and are willing to help you threw projects and problems,they have a nice big selection of fish and variety of salt and fresh.tanks look like thier taken care of,and im not sure what this man (newbie) is talking about i rarely if ever see dead fish they dont sell sick fish like the chains do, a little bit short staffed so you have to wait a little bit.have very nice idea tanks set up around the store. i would recomend them to any one

We are newe in town and pretty serious fish keepers, although what we have are simple. (Pleco's, Rasbora's, Loaches, etc.) We are new in town, and when looking for a fish store, these guys have had the most selection so far. However, we were told that new fish are delivered on Thursday's, so we visited on Thursday. We noticed alot of dead loss in the tanks, but assumed that this was because of shipping. When we asked the employee if these were all of the new fish, she said more were coming on Friday. So we visited on Friday. On Friday a different employee told us that all fish are held in quarantine for a week before being put on display, however all of the dead fish were still in the tanks!!! If you do not want to have a major catastrophe in your tank, don't buy fish from these guys.

employees are very knowlagable and helpfull, carry a great variety of fish and many tanks. they have alot of fish supplies,more then the other stores in the area, the only con i can see is that there always seems to be a bit of a wait. they have both salt water fish and fresh water, probibly the best store around this area i would deffenitly recomend this store to anyone looking into setting up a new tank, or are having any issues with there own.

They have around 300 tanks of fish! Staff knows what they are talking about. They have a huge selection of fresh water fish and some salt stuff too. Their fish are healthy and if they have sick fish they take them off sale until they are healthy. Usually short staffed but worth the wait!

This store is great (esp if you are into Fish and Aquariums) I have yet to find a store in the area that can compete with their tank prices. They also accept trade ins on fish which is nice. The only thing I don't care for is the care of the birds at the store. They are always crammed in small cages that look pretty dirty and sometimes its hard to find someone to help you but other than that its a nice store.
PROS: Fish supplies and aquariums
CONS: service and care of birds

I have been in the fish/aquarium hobby for over a dozen years now and only frequent two local stores. Pet World in greece is one of them. Not only is the staff extremly polite and knoweldgable but they are willing to lower prices tremendously if they know you as a regular customer.
For instance, if you wish to purchase a complete setup they will give you discounts on all of the related equipment, not to mention futher discounts in the future.
If they don't have something in the store that you would like, they can get it for you in a reasonable amount of time at a reasonable price.

This store is conveniently located and carries all of your basic pet needs. They have live fish, birds, hamsters, rabbits, mice and more. They carry all of the equipment that is needed to house these animals as well. The staff is very helpful and knowledgable regarding the various pets. I would recommend them.
