A friend of mine and I recently stopped by this restaurant after an 9 year hiatus. I have to admit, the food back then was the same as it was now...pretty 'effin gooooood. They prepare dishes to their patron's preference and always offer service with a friendly smile. Everything on the menu can be altered (in terms of spice) and they even allow for substitutions. This KD-Phi sorority girl friend of mine who used to drive a beat-up Ford Taurus, even held private parties there! The owners are so accomodating it's almost like you've known them for years. I can't wait till the next time we stop by Buffalo again so that we can enjoy the best Thai food in town!

Pros: Tasty, oh yeaaaah...., staff

Cons: Can't think of any, can you old Raintree Resident?

If you are looking for Thai food, Jasmines is worth a look. The food may not be the best that I have had, but for Buffalo's standard, its pretty ok. Parking is readily available and the atmosphere is that of your average restaurant. Prices are a little steep for the (average) food that you are getting.

I absolutely love Jasmine's. It's fresh and delicious Thai food prepared any way you may like. They will substitute and adjust spicyness according to your tastes. They have an extensive menu and also offer Vegan dishes. For appetizers try the chicken sa-teh or the spring rolls both very good and for the main course try the Pad Thai or the Red Curry Chicken or Beef and finish off with the coconut ice cream. It's Thai done just right and is just as good as any thai place in NYC.

I love thai food, and this is a good restaurant for it. The staff is friendly and helpful, the food was great. We were seated quickly and the food was out in a flash. We had the Pad Thai -- awesome. IWe had a great dessert (and the waitress gave us a huge helping for the two of us to share.) will go back.

There aren't that many Thai places in Buffalo, so it's sometimes difficult to really cure a craving for Thai food. Jasmine's is pretty mediocre and personally I don't think the food is worth the money. The ambiance is ok, and Thai restaurants never smell that great so don't expect the Thai food waft to lure you into the restaurant. I really have had so much better so Jasmine's is pretty disappointing for me, but I guess with the lack of selection in Buffalo it will have to do. The coconut ice cream desert with honey and peanuts is pretty good though.

In our ongoing quest to find a decent Thai restaurant, we came to Jasmine's. Jasmine's had food which was prepared nicely although they were lacking in spice and heat. Service and prices were ok. I would say this is a decent place to go for Thai cooking in this area, if you don't feel like making the drive to Rochester which has far better eating options. But at least Buffalo has the Simmering Clay Oven, which is a great place for north Indian cuisine...
