i think someone from bam's auto body wrote that last and only positive review!!!!! prob his wife the lady behind the counter with her fake smile and fake boobs.cause she 's always on the computer...Sharon s. yeah o.k. BAMS AUTO BODY is nothing but a scam..They squeeze your insurance company dry<and they're lawyers and doctors they hook you up with are just the same...fraud!!! i hope the insurance companys get together or goverment steps in and shuts these peoples down

From the beginning to the end, my experience with Bam's has been a blessing. I don't care how or why they appeared after my accident, just that they did! Andrew, the tow truck driver was patient and caring. He waited until I was ready to make a decision. Once at the shop, i met the most amazing people! Joanne is like my long lost best friend. She understood my pain and went out of her way to comfort me while taking care of EVERYTHING for me. Richie made sure the adjuster, Will, would do the "right" thing by me. When Geico wanted to 'total' my car, I was devastated! Richie took care of me...No questions asked! Then there's Rob, the other half of Joanne. Rob is an honest, caring, sincere man. He didn't rip me off, as the others claim. All my parts are new and work better than they did before. When having to go back for a minor adjustment, they didn't hide or down-talk me. I was in and out and treated like a priority!! My Nissan is clean, sharp and looks BEAUTIFUL as well. Thanks so so much to all who had a part in my blessing...and especially to Rob and Joanne! They say Christmas comes but once a year...for me, twice! xoxoxoxo

I agree with others they do rip off the insurance company and use old parts to your car. BE WARY! Might look like ur car is OK but it's not!!! RIP OFF. Very Unprofessional Staff that curses you out and threatens because you question the work they do to your car. If you care about your car DO NOT go to BAM's!!! Read the reviews below and you will c that they really do not hold their word. Your car is not Safe at this body Shop and the work is NOT GUARANTEED! They billed my insurance company for parts that were not replaced. They simply do whatever they have to save the parts money and put it in their pocket. My insurane company advised me not to go to this shop ever again!

AND THEN HE CALLED ME A BLACK N WORD.... YES HE DID'' STAY AWAY FROM BAMS THEY ARE A SCAM, AND THEY ARE RACISTS.. BASTARDS, IF MY HUSBAND WAS ALIVE HE WOULD WHOP ROBERTS ASS''''

bam's auto body is terrible and they really slack on their job. I don't understand how a company that already OVERCHARGES can do sucha half-assed job. Usually people work harder as the pay goes up, I could have gotten my car fixed for maybe half the price and had a better job done somewhere else. Honestly Bam's, you really need to think about the way you treat your customers and the mechanics you hire. You guys are slacking

First of all, the tow guy is a liar, they are connected to the police radio and he tells you he will take care of you and if you didn't want to get the car fixed at Bam's they would release it no problem, but when I didn't want it to be fixed at Bam's they threatened that I wouldn't be able to get my car for at least 2-3 weeks, what kinda bs is this?
THIS ISNT THE WORST OF IT YET, then after a lot of calls back and forth to geico and Bam's I decided what the heck, maybe they would actually do a good job, BOY WAS I WRONG. These guys are terrible, when they told me that my car was done, I went in to look at it and they used parts from a used car, it had dents in it, the moldings weren't on right, my headlights were off, even though the accident wasn't near the headlights. MY windows won't close correctly and squeak when they go up and all my friends hate it. I have no idea what this shop is doing or what they are thinking, but they really need some better customer service. You may think they are nice when you're there and they will treat you professionally, but once you are gone, your car goes into the supermarket's parking dump next door and becomes target practice for the pidgeons.
Anyways the main reason for this post is because I am supposed to have a lifetime warranty on the repairs because I have Geico as my insur. I called Bam's to tell them about my window not closing correctly and they said...well what do you want me to do?-Robert
I need my window fixed? what do you think, seriously..so he says bring it in early in the morning, i get there at 9 and he says its too late come back on monday, it's now monday and thank god i called this time because if I went in, that scheming scumbag Robert would've probably sent me back home AGAIN. I'm going to give them another chance, but this is final.

I had this aweful problem with my car right before my fourth of july road trip. I had been to BAMS before for some body work( they also hooked me up and did a great job) so I had called and Robert really handled the job in no time. I was able to take my road trip and so far the car is acting perfect!!

I brought my 2007 Nissan Maxima to BAMS and the car actually looked better when they finished with it then before the accident! They are the best autobody shop in New York hands down! I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks Robert!

I had a terrible car accident, and I thought that my baby (car) would never be the same. The people at Bams took very good care of me and my car. They kept me updated on what was going on with the repairs. They were very professional, polite, and overall THEY DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB ON MY CAR!!!! I am so very happy that my baby is back to normal, they matched up the special paint perfectly and it looks like a brand new car...People can't even believe that I was ever in an accident....I would definitely recommend them of all the other shops. I actually did a little shopping around with other body shops and the work was actually better and I saved money as well.

First off let me say that I read some of the negative and positive articles before I brought my Lexus there, I asked them about the anonymous comment and they informed the lady had her car there for the 2ND time at Bams with in 2 months and she was advised not to fix the car and she insisted the car must be repair and for the cheapest amount possible, against their better judgement. I decided to get my brand new Lexus repaired there anyway and mind you it is a lease i didn't want to go through insurance and i wanted it perfect,and perfect is what they did! I cant complain ! It was like brand new and the owner Robert and his wife Joanne made me feel very very comfortable leaving me car there for repairs.I will recommend to all my Friends !!!!

I had a car accident they are connected to cops radio, the only good thing they did was be there right away. Anthony, the tow truck guy who is a pathological liar towed my car said he would take care of everything. He told me what I needed, a new steering wheel cause thr air bags came out, new air bags, all new front end. He also said I would get a detailed bill of everything done. All I got was a bill marked PAID. I never got anything new, all aftermarket. When he bought it back to me it was in the dark, he told me the way the car was hit that there was a gap between the hood and where it closes. The rubber trimming around the headlights were sticking up. There were paint drips on the side front panel. After a few months, my car started pulling away anf the gap was getting bigger asked them to refix it. They only adjusted the headlights cause I couldn't see at night. So I contacted the Better Business Bureau cause they wouldn't return my calls. BBB said they weren't responding. So I took it to another place and they fized it all up. They couldn't even describe what they did to my car. I agree with three othe reviews they are a scam. They are a chop shop. Never go there. They should be investigated for insurance fraud.

I WAS REFERRED TO BAMS FROM FRIEND. IT WAS A GREAT REFERAL. I WAS SO SATISFIED WITH EVERYTHING THEY DID FOR ME AND MY CAR. IT LOOKED LIKE NEW WHEN I GOT IT BACK.IT WAS CLEANED IN AND OUT. THEY TOOK CARE OF ME LIKE THEY NEW ME FOREVER. EVERYONE THERE REALLY KNOWS WHAT THERE DOING THEY ARE TRULY KIND PEOPLE. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND BAMS.

when i got into my accident i didn't know what to do, a bams truck pulled up aand very kind man asked if i needed a body shop. The kind man stayed with me the whole time and took care of everything. he towed my car, called in my claim and got me a rental car. I was so satisfied with everything they did for me. My car was fixed very fast and they did amazing work. I would never go anywhere other than BAMS i recommend them to all!

BAMS WAS VERY HELPFUL AFTER I HAD MY CAR ACCIDENT. THEY WERE AT THE SCENE OF THE ACCIDENT VERY FAST AND TOWED MY CAR. THEY CALLED IN MY CLAIM AND GOT ME A RENTA-CAR. EVERYONE AT BAMS IS VERY HELPFUL,RESPECTFUL AND KIND. MY CAR WAS FIXED VERY FAST, THE PAINT JOB WAS AMAZING AND THEY FIXED THE BACK BUMPER AND DIDNT CHARGE ME. MY CAR CLEANED IN AND OUT. I have recently had my 2004 Mercury
fixed at Bams Autobody and I must say
they did a fantastic job.The car was cleaned inside and out,the whole car was hand polished and they fixed a few extra dents I had at no charge without even telling me! I was so happy after I got my car back.I would recommend them to all!!

I WAS INVOLVED IN A CAR ACCIDENT AND WAS REFERRED TO BAMS BY A FRIEND AND THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL FOR THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME THAT I HAD EVER BEEN INVOLVED IN A CAR ACCIDENT THEY WERE HONEST, RELIABLE, AND VERY COURTEOUS.I WOULD REFER THEM TO ANYONE I KNOW THAT HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN A CAR ACCIDENT.

This place is a scam and I totally agree with the 2 other reviews. I was actually just looking for the directions of this place and I came across the reviews and showed it to my co-workers who I had just finished telling them that my friend had found out that this place is bad and they charge too much. They actually give 20% of the whole estimate of your car to the guy who picks up the car (who by the way gets the info. of the accident from and illegal radio that they have connected to the cops). I didnt know the area and they came asap so I thought they were good. The guy who picked up my car is a pathological lier, according the the owner (one of the many owners) of the place who told me that. I went back to tell them they had dented the bumper real bad and my paint was coming off and the owner "Robert" with his bigot attitude told me and my brother (mechanic for Mercedes) that he aint going to fix anyhting. MY brother looked at everything they had fixed and they added things in that they didnt even touch and also touched things that had nothing wrong with them. As you can see, do not go to this place. If u see them on the news, you know who brought them there.

i got into a car accident and the minute after some guy come over to me and recommended me to bams towing they towed my car and also "fixed" it for me. since then i have been having alot of problems my paint chips like crazy and the paint job was horrible the guy is very nice but seems like a rip off after everything is done and they take very long too.

This is a so called auto repair shop, it is more like a chop shop. They do horrible body work. They try to pass off employee mistake as quality work. Technicans seem like auto thieves. Owner claims to be honest and a hard worker. After I told him I was not satisfied he turned into an out right nasty bigot. He used profound language. Bams company should be investigated for insurance fraud because of his extremely expensive estimates. I would not recommend this place to anyone. You are better off going to another place.
