when you can get a mind blowingly good real treatments at bigger places! So I've been going to a smaller place around k town. Not gonna name names! :) so long story short, I've got the body scrub and massage package for 120. It was almost a 2 hour process of being pampered! I've never felt this refreshed and rejuvenated ever!! Make sure you ask for the seaweed emollient and the milk cleansing!! Best ever!!!

My friend recommended this place, so I went last week to get a scrub + massage package.
The scrub!! I got a scalp massage and a mini-facial with cucumber slices and seaweed emollient, oh and the milk cleansing!! and the swedish massage after the scrub - this is just the perfect combination!! I was going to get the massage only but then I decided to get the full package coz the scrub itself is 70 but as a package it was only 130 in total (the massage is 90 on its own). I think i'm gonna be a regular at this place!

My boyfriend went here off and on for years. He never told me because of the "secret" part...certainly something that he could get at home. Well, recently he "graduated" to the place next door where they provide "full service". Ladies, keep your man out of this place if you don't want your relationshiop compromised.

After been going to juvenex for a while I needed some change. Spa sol is right around the corner from juvi so needed to check it out. First, the facility was clean and quiet. I've gotten the body scrub and massage package. I gotta tell you, I didn't expect such a great service. Boy was I wrong. The body scrub took off about 5lbs of the dead skin I had and got me all rejuvenated making my skin look and feel of an infant's. I've got the sweedish massage afterwards and i was knocked out from the skillful hands of the massuse. Wish I can remember her name. I'm sure everyone here does a good job tho. Well if you haven't been here yet check it out!! It's worth it!!!

I recomend this place as one of the best spa place.
I got massage and body scrub and it was wonderful. it really feels good during and after. frankly, one of the best so far. i'm so happy that i found my new favorite place~

I went to a lot of massage places in manhatan but this place is so far the best!! everyone was really nice and it was very clean. I got a whole body scrub and it was amazing! after this, I also got a body massage, which was also great. after all this, I felt like a princess and I was very relaxed. I think I will be going back to this place at least twice a month!!!

Excellent massage. It helps this is right near my house. I'm so glad I walked in one day since I've never been anywhere else since! Excellent service... wonderful.

90 dollars for 50 minutes. Pretty asian ladies (you do not get to choose - walk ins). Nice facility. Great locker room with nice towels, robes and drinks. Excellent mens full body massage. Haggle free HE. They expect about a 40 dollar tip.
Overall nice place, nice massage and pretty girls. You are getting the same service as Garden Retreat Spa (off 5th Ave) for about 30 dollars more and 10 minutes less.

Pros: Nice Clean Facility

Ive been to many spas in NY and this one is right up there. It doesnt have the same feel as the bigger commercialized ones, its a bit quieter and definitely more relaxing. Not to mention its probably half the price, therefore, you can go twice for the same price. At least thats how I think of it. The sauna and steam rooms are clean, authentic jade, and personal. The service is top notch and the location makes it so easy. Especially if you live outside of Manhattan like me, Penn station is a block away. Easy after work go to spot. And theyre open late, ive been there as late as 11pm and it was no problem. Try it out!!

My wife and I were in town for our anniversary and were looking for a couples massage at a reasonable price. The location was also important to us. Being across from the Empire State Building made it a convenient location. The facilities were top notch. The locker rooms were stocked with everything from deodorant to a fridge with drinks. The message was very good. We left relaxed and ready to enjoy a broadway show.

Salon Sol is proffesionally staffed. The enviroment is superb including industrial air purifieres. The staff is well trained and proffesional. The time you get is exactly 50 minutes. If you need a strong massage please let the booker know in advance, some of the girls are more delicate but several are the best in the City. They are open until 1 am which works for me as it is so nice to get a massage then go home to sleep or be showered, groomed and ready for the city. They are right behind the Empire State Building which ipute you right in midtown. I have back problems and they are addressed, a note is that some of the girls do not speak englih well so let the front desk know about any special needs. The steam and sauna are great and the facility is spotless. Enjoy.

HORRIBLE. I went once because my girlfriend bought me a gift certificate for a dry sauna and body scrub and massage. It was average at best - the atmosphere is very cramped and uninspiring and the body scrub and massage are okay but leave you wondering if they're nearly worth what you're paying. The clincher though was at the end when they demanded a sizeable tip; I gave them all I had in my wallet (25% of value) and they pressured me for more. I finally gave my credit card, at which point they (believe it or not) took it and charged me (WITHOUT asking me what I wanted to pay) a 48% tip and asked me to sign it. I have never been so quite so insulted by such poor and tasteless customer service. I would recommend this place to NO ONE unless you like being mistreated.
