Unfortunately, while the store may have a desired selection of merchandise, the workers &/or owner are not the desired customer friendly people that a consumer looks for. I really never feel welcome when I step through that door.

Carol School Supply is my favorite store. I have been a customer for 30 years. The toys and supplies are extraordinarily excellent. I never had a bad experience; I always found the staff to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I come in with an age and a price range, and I always get wonderful suggestions. The last toy I purchased was for a baby, and the parents were thrilled with the quality and uniqueness of it. I love to buy things made in the U.S.A., instead of China. Carol's has an outstanding selection. They also gift wrap.

As I read the reviews, obviously time has changed since 2005. Everyone seemed miserable and not friendly at all. I left empty handed to another store.

They have anything you could possibly need for school! I came here to find a paint set for fingerpainting and a couple of notebooks which they had a good selection of. The prices are pretty cheap, and I'm sure they're more expensive in manhattan. The store is also pretty big, and not a closet space. I'd definitely go in here and find your school supplies here.

They have great ideas for teacher's gifts and for decoration for classroom, as well as much educational material

Teachers from the area come here all the time for their teaching tools. But parents can come in here as well for tons of things for their toddlers to 6th graders. The stuff she has makes it fun for your child to learn. The store is huge and jam packed with great stuff.

This store was a waste of my time! Not only are the people rude, they are over priced. I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone and am wondering if the others who gave this store 5 stars are either workers or related to the workers of this store! Go somewhere else!

Teachers don't come here!

I usually just shrug off bad customer service but today's experience was so bad that I signed up for this account just to write this review. The older blond haired lady was extremely rude!!! She had the nerves to talk in front of me to someone else and started talking about how annoyed she was because she thought I had no intentions to buy anything. She then came over to me and asked me if I had any intentions of buying b/c I had looked at the same curriculum book before. Lady, if you are reading this...Customer service 101 tip: If a customer comes back to look at the same item a second time around, it's b/c they are interested not b/c they want to waste their time and have no intention to buy!!!

Great place! I have heard a lot about it but have never been! I finally made my way over there recently and was blown away!!! Their staff is so helpful and accommodating. They have more then any other store in the area and are very knowledge able. I went in looking for 1 specific item and came out with about 5 other unique and amazing items! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Carol's is the best! The staff at Carol's are so helpful and so knowledgeable about books, toys, and educational material that are age appropriate for your child. Mary is the most outstanding sales associate and can help anyone find anything. Go to Carol's if your looking for toys, school supplies, or birthday gifts for your kids! I have been shopping there for 25 years. The store has been family owned and opperated for over 40 years and continues to serve the community wonderfully! =)
