I went to Taj for a special event. My friend and I sat, got comfortable, and ordered a lovely dinner. As soon as the bill was paid, and before the event began, we were told that we had to move so others could eat. The waitress was friendly and we understood. That was fine. She told us we could sit upstairs and still have a great view of the upcoming performance.
We moved and got comfortable once again.
But we were immediately approached by the hostess who told us to move for another party that were there to eat. (Mind you - the tables were coffee tables!). We were reluctant, but moved to the last chairs/seats available. ... only to find out that the couple who sat to eat never ordered and LEFT. Other non-eating customers came and took over the area and the dinner napkins on the coffee tables were left un-used, but my friend and I, who paid to have dinner, got the boot twice!
If Taj wants to serve dinner, they need to be more organized and not "shoo" their paying customers around ... and AWAY!
