Deluxe on Broadway has very good pasta. All freshly made, lots of varieties to choose from. Love the location (right near Columbia). The interior of the restaurant is very chic.

I was there last week and I had a great time. I go to Columbia and it's my favorite place in the neighborhood. Cute staff and the mac n cheese is amazing.
Pros: Good Food, Fun Atmosphere

Comfy and friendly ambient with a good food choise. Price is ok. Nice outdoors area for summer brunch.

Went here last night for a birthday party. It was a group of 7 and there was plenty of space but they wouldn't let us sit down until at least 5 people arrived. Then the waiter came and the first two people who ordered drinks ordered water so he cut us off and said "Does anyone want anything BUT water?!?!" I ordered "garlic bread" as a side and it turned out to be little, tiny pieces of bread with some gross cheese on them and hardly any garlic taste. Then I told him it was my friend's birthday and asked if they sing or anything. He told me they don't sing but he could "bring something out" and we could sing. He didn't mention a charge and didn't give us the option to choose a dessert of our choice. When we got the bill, we were charged $5.95 for her brownie. And of course gratuity was included because it was a group of 7 which is normal enough but kinda annoying when you had this sort of experience...

Dislike this place. Slow service and way overpriced eggs. Ate there a few weeks ago (alone) and was not impressed with anything. Plus, they only have UNSALTED BUTTER for your toast...what, are we in Europe? OK to have unsalted but have a choice. Lots of staff but slow to respond...it's a diner over all and should be quicker.
Pros: A seat was available

I've been here a few times for lunch and dinner, and have always had a great time. It is a really cute restaurant with solid food. For lunch, I like the little corn salad and for dinner, the fried calamari starter and the hanger steak are absolutely delish. The staff is really friendly, and I can't wait to see how the exec chef does on Top Chef!

This place was recommended by my cousin and I must say it is good. The restaurant is really nice! Very cozy. The selection of food is wide, from salad to steak. The service is friendly too! Oh yes and the wallnut waffle is delicious! The price of the food is a little expensive to me, but all in all the food, atmosphere, and service is good!

As a user said in 2003, the cobb salad here is incredible: the lettuce is shredded into thin strips, but obviously fresh; the bacon, chicken, and blue cheese are ample; and, most importantly, the dressing is perfect. As a bonus, it looks as good as it tastes: this is a little unexpected at a diner.
The only negative: the staff is a little slow/forgetful/aloof/etc.
Pros: Best cobb salad in the neighborhood
Cons: Service is slow and forgetful

Good diner food. Period. Nothing complicated, a few nice surprises here and there, and some definite standards that are well prepared. Not the most experienced staff thus I'm not sure what the experience of a large group would be but bring a good dose of patience and an empty bell. You'll walk away satisfied. Do ask servers about the specials and regular menu items; they're very good about giving HONEST opinions.
Pros: Extensive menu of good diner/comfort food
Cons: Less than experienced inefficient staff

I have made the mistake of coming back here several times because the food is pretty good (although way too much bread crumbs on the mac and cheese) but the service REALLY SUCKS. The servers try their best, but good luck getting the right food delivered to your table. On one occasion they LOST OUR ORDER COMPLETELY, and were NOT EVEN REMOTELY APOLOGETIC ABOUT IT!!! THIS PLACE NEEDS BETTER MANAGEMENT!!!!
Pros: ok food
Cons: slow service, orders filled wrong, pathetic management

Bullet point:
- great atomosphere (great music, friendly staff, decor)
- good burgers, salads, and brownies!
- kitchen is quick most of the time. However, if the place gets packed, then there seems to be an exagerated delay. Alas, you can't have it all.
It's a great place though. The staff is very friendly, and they look like they enjoy being there. The kind of place where I want to become a regular, and get to know every little detail there is to know!
Pros: Atmosphere, food, music
Cons: , some pricey items, I'm not a regular yet

The food here is above average, especially their burgers, and their breakfasts specials are tasty, but the service is deplorable. All the waiters are friends, and love to chat it up while the customers' cries for help go totally unnoticed. It's reasonably priced, but not cheap. It's a step up in quality from Tom's, which is a block down the street, but Tom's is better for non-picky eaters looking to spend little cash.
Pros: Food, Atmosphere, Clean
Cons: Service, Price

they make the best chopped cobb salad i've ever had. great place to meet the girls for sunday brunch, even if there's a wait.
