Grown up in Shanghai, China and have tried all Shanghai food restaurants in New York, I think Shanghai Tide is by far the best. Their food is simply impeccable. I am a frequent patron there and I recommend them to all my friends.
The restaurant decoration reminds one of Shanghai in the 1930's (the good old days). Their staff is very friendly. The price is good. They also provide family feasts with prices like $18 for 3 dishes your choice.
The only complaint I have is that they do not have a parking lot and parking space in Flushing is just as hard to find as in Manhattan these days.
PROS: Best Shanghai Food, Nice Deco.
CONS: No Parking.
