You have to try the turtle crossing Quesadilla. I believe it's the first item on the menu, it's under appatizers but it can easily be an entr??e. In the summertime with fresh vegatables and ingredients it just can't be beat

This is hands down one of the best restaurants in the hamptons. If you are looking for a casual restaurant with a friendly atmosphere, turtle crossing is the place.

We were looking for a different place to eat and we always wanted to try Turtle Crossing. Sitting down was nearly impossible when we tried (height of the season) so we opted for take out. Well worth it, even when a little cold after dealing with the traffic to get home! The seasoned/flavored corn on the cob - mmmmmm!

The great menu is what drew us to this very casual, un-pretenesious eatery located close to the bustle of Main Street. They don't take reservations, but I did call about 1/2 hour before to ask them if they would be able to accomadate a party of 18. They were so friendly and welcoming when we arrived and there was only an 10 minute wait. The drink menu was just as amazing as their dinner menu. I was told the white sangria and the watermelon mojito were worth the $12. The drinks were almost as much as the entrees, but the portions of the dinners were VERY genrous! I suggest sharing an entree if you're not a heavy eater. The hush puppies, onion strings and wings were the favorites of the apps. The three meat platter, fried chicken and the ribs were the favorites with the entrees. The corn was also great as a side! I had the steak special and asked for it cooked medium, but eneded up with a dry, very well done steak. Luckily the portions were big that I was able to eat everyone elses yummy dishes.

The service was very friendly but a tiny bit slow, but it was a busy Saturday night. The waitress we had was a bit tricky, only because we metioned within our table that the chips and guac sounded good, then out of no where she brings the order over when we didn't really order it (it's not free with the table). Also, I mentioned to my friend that I was thinking about getting a lemonade instead of ice tea and before you knew it there was a lemonade in front of me. After that we were cautious of what we said because it might suddenly pop up on our table. Kinda funny, but a bit strange...I just thought I'd share.

The resaurant is kid friendly and they had great outdoor seating. I highly recommend this place for large groups, families and even for an evening of drinks.
