Jackson Hole Burgers

I ordered delivery from Jackson Hole. I asked them to hold the butter and oil and I was very clear. When the food arrived at my apartment, the plastic bag was leaking butter and oil. It then BROKE, and both containers were open. Butter, oil and red-sauce spilled all over a new handbag ruining it and a light rug, ruining that as well. I called them to complain. They put me on hold 4 times, then the manager got on the phone and yelled at ME! He didn't let me speak or explain what had happened. He just said, it's not their fault! The delivery person delivered open containers that had spilled and the bag broke and they didn't follow instructions. So, I now have personal items that are ruined and it wasn't their fault???? I asked for the owner, but they wouldn't give me a name or number. I said in the meantime, I want my money back. He said, he'd have to send the delivery boy and that I'd have to give back the food to get my money back! So, I handed him the dripping containers, ripped bag, etc. and sent it back. Very rude, very bad service. I will never ever order from them again. Disgusted and appalled.

I've been to this location twice and left feeling very sick both times. My girlfriend and I had burgers and both times we had horrible stomach pains and felt really ill. Be careful with the burgers.

Meat ordered medium can range anywhere from somewhat pink to no pink at all. I expect this from even the higher end venues, but raw is never acceptable and that is what my husband and I where given at Jackson Hole. We showed it to the waiter who without apology began to remove it from the table at which point we decided we would rather leave. He then presented us with a check for the drinks from which we had taken no more than two sips. It was at this point a manager arrived to insist we pay for the drinks. After I picked up my husband's bloody steak and showed it to her she very loudly and rudely said "Forget it". At no time did we receive an apology or an attempt to correct the problem. All we received was loss of appetite and embarrassment.

The draw is supposedly the burgers, but ICK! The burger is huge, but that's about it. It's too big to eat without making a huge mess, and it's not very tasty at all. The service wasn't very good, and they sat us about a foot away from a 9 year old's ridiculously loud birthday party. Don't go here....so many other better choices for burgers.

My first (and probably only) visit to Jackson Hole was disappointing. I had heard so much about the "great burgers" only to be underwhelmed by an oversized so-so burger and below average service. Sure, prices are good, but remember, this is a burger joint. For even better value and a better burger, go to Hardee's and order a Monster Burger.

I absolutely love this place. The burgers are amazing, and best of all-- they are super cheap. The portions are huge! I will be going back for more and more! It is a GREAT restaurant!!

I thought the burgers at this place were awesome. They're huge and delicious. Definitely recommended when you feel like something greasy.

I cannot believe when I read reviews that people actually like this place. You can tell that people don't get out much. This is by far the WORST burger I ever had in my entire life. I never tasted anything as HORRIBLE as these hamburgers. People just care about quantity. They are big - but they taste like someone took a chunk of greasy chopmeat, threw it on a grill and put it on a bun! They have NO seasoning, NO flavor etc. When I picked it up, it fell onto the plate like crumpled chopmeat. I had pick up the remaining tasteless chopment with a fork. What a joke! Never in my life, have I been subjected to such horrible food. I'd love to meet the cook in this place. He should be ashamed of himself.

Been to most of the J-holes (as my friends and I refer to it as) around the city, this being the one most frequented. The service is fast, the food always plentiful and consistantly good. the biggest problem with this place is trying to decide how to eat the gigantic burger. This has outdoor seating which is always a plus.

This is by far one of the most juiciest burger I ever eaten in the entire city of New York. Not to mention the selections they have. I enjoy this immense amount of food which keeps me coming back wanting some more. The service is as always, wonderful! I give this restaurant a quadruple A+. They even cater to vegetarians, which made my wife very happy.

The last time I was at Jackson Hole, not only was the service bad, my cheeseburger came out with an unappetizing slab of unmelted cheese on top - but not in a good way....

I can honestly say this was one of my favorite spots for good ole burgers & a heaping of extras many moons ago, but now it's just another burger joint to me. I've tried most of their varieties, just kind of tired of the same ole stuff. So I bid my farewell, I hear the burger joint in the Le Meridien is well worth the visit for much better burgers & can't beat their prices!

Excellent food, great service, but watch your bill, especially when paying with credit card add your gratuities on the card, dont give cash for tip, other wise you will be charge twice!!

When in the mood to completely pig out, this is a top choice. I love the burger with blue cheese, sauteed mushrooms and grilled onions! Add a side of onion rings and you have the finest junk food meal around.
