DON"T EVER GO THERE. TERRIBLE SERVICE, TERRILE FOOD. We ordered delivery- 2 very simple meals- and after 50 minutes, we called to check on the order. They claimed it left already. Half hour later we called again (live <10 minutes away) and they said it was on its way and hung up on us! After an hour and 45 minutes, it finally came, and the delivery man said he had just left the diner minutes before. We called the manager to say this was unacceptable, and he was EXTREMELY RUDE, ABRUPT, AND JUST DIDN'T CARE. If you live in the neighborhood, go to Hollywood Diner, Lyric Diner... even McDonald's is better service! Anywhere but here!!!! The food didn't even look good and was overpriced. NEVER AGAIN. Oh, and they clearly have no idea what scrambled eggs are.

Cons: rude, rude, rude.

I first found this diner after leaving the Strand bookstore. We were hungry like nothing else, so my mother and I stopped in. The place is very obviously owned and operated by Greeks, but the food is standard diner fare. I couldn't find a single thing on the menu I didn't like, and it must have been the only place in all of NYC which served real, fresh fries. They also serve breakfast all day, so you should try an omellet some day.
