I have shopped at Tony Walker for years. I go there for everything from coats to boots and dresses and jeans.

I went in there today and was told that I could receive 20% off the two pairs of boots I was going to purchase if I came back

I brought a friend to Tony Walker today because she's heard so much but has never been. She wanted to show me a Chan Luu bracelet that she's seen around, so we were just interested in window shopping. (at first)

While we were looking at the Chan Luu accessories a lady next to us said to the salesperson, "I'm so glad I actually came in, the reviews I read online made you all seem so horrible!" We got into a big discussion that honestly, people mostly just write reviews when they have something to complain about. I told her that I've been shopping at Tony Walker for about 5 years, and have always left extremely happy, and very impressed with their service.

After buying the same Toy Watch that this lady (my new best friend) purchased, and the Chan Luu bracelet that I didn't even know existed (thanks Liz), I promised Brian, my salesperson, that I would go write a positive review. For today and all the years I've shopped at Tony Walker, I am continually impressed. Brian was one of the nicest salespeople I've dealt with there, even though I've had some really great ones in the past.

Thanks for making my day! Love my Toy Watch and new Chan Luu!!!!!

I am new to Citysearch, but I am not new to catty girls. Wow, give them a chance to get nasty, especially when no one knows it's them, and you can really get some crazy stuff going.

I moved here from NYC and a friend of mine told me to check out Tony Walker. Move over Scoop, Tony Walker is the real deal. Their product mix is fantastic, and unlike Scoop, they actually have it in stock. The place is loaded.

As for the service, try getting some advice on fashion anywhere else and you're getting a sales pitch. Try Kristy Soda on for size and you're getting the best in the business.

Yes, I've noticed some pretty young girls working there. I know some women who think every pretty girl is giving them the look. My sister thinks everyone is checking her out and finding some flaw. Face it, every one of us sizes each other up, but I've never had anyone not be nice to me at Tony Walker. Some of you must be shopping in another store or just missed your meds.

The bottom line, TW rocks. Some of you are just not happy with who you are. Maybe you just couldn't fit in their clothes. Actually, that would be a legitimate gripe, they don't have extra large sizes. Sorry big mama, I won't be shopping with you at TW, you're better off online.

There's not a lot in Buffalo to shout about. The weather sucks, Chippewa is a crime zone for half-naked teenage girls, and the Sabres are the only game in town. But, and it's a big "but" the people are great. I love it here. Maybe the nasty reviews are from people in NYC where that taste of nasty is in everyone's mouth - and that's why I'm glad to be here.

Lighten up girls and be proud of the one store that people actually come from the city to shop at.

i try jean sizes on in the store, then order them online from saks, revolve or shopbop. the sales people think that there the coolest people because they work in an, at best, second rate store. the clothes are not "the latest" as they claim, but have been available online for months before they arrive in the store. the store does not have a wide variety of clothes, and carries those ridculous velour suits people in buffalo insist on wearing. the clothes are overpriced, not even at the retail rate. this is not a quality store, and the people that shop here think that they are so cool because they are buying a pair of sevens or TRs and spending money.

I am having trouble understanding all the negativity regarding Tony Walker & Co.
I live in Rochester and drove in today because of a problem I had with a pair of Uggs that I had recently purchased. (NOT A PROBLEM WITH TONY WALKER!!)
Right from the very 1st phone earlier this week, I was treated with respect, understanding and a promise to return my call with a solution within 24 hrs.
The manager, Marc Conaway did returned my call within a few hours to offer me a perfect solution.
Marc was 100% accommodating to me as well as being as professional as I have ever been treated.
We already know that Tony Walkers is the an amazing store with an inventory that's parallel to none, but I want people to know that the customer service is superb as well!!!!
Every employee that I spoke to today couldn't have been nicer and more helpful.
Living in Rochester I have referred a lot of people to this store and I have never heard any negative feedback.
I hope Tony Walker appreciates & is proud to be represented by their staff with Marc Conaway leading the way.

My first impression of the store was that it was a terrible mess, and one of the girls sitting on her computer was eating oatmeal. It was repulsive. I tried to ignore her but she rudely interrupted the young salesgirl helping me. She not only embarrassed the young girl by telling her she was wrong (it turns out she actually wasn't wrong) but she looked ridiculous yelling at other workers in front of customers for no reason. Then as she walked away she began talking another salesgirls about her boobjob! She didn't even look like she worked there based on her sweaty workout clothes and dirty messy hair. She was very unprofessional. Great skincare products, but buy them online to avoid a rude uncomfortable experience. (flies EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Poor customer service, horrible return policy that isn't posted. Clerks are trained with the "don't ask, don't tell" philosophy. Made a large purchase and was dissatisfied with the discoloration during wear. Was told it was a "fashion" item and not made for Buffalo weather and the elements. No more in stock and could not order from the manufacturer. Offered store credit only. Got the "used car salesman" run-around, spoke with tow individuals who had poor interpersonal skill and were not at all empathetic to my needs or concerns for the money that I spent. Do yourself a favor and shop in Chicago, NYC or LA. On-line manufacturer direct is even a better bet if you know what you want and the size. Yes Virginia, there is a Satan Caluse and his name is Tony Walker and the Advantage Co. He steals your money and your patience. The experience was dreadful and I will never darken their door again.

Cons: Last Season and way over-priced/ Poor customer relations

I read "tonywalkerisascam's" review and it sounds eerily similar. In fact, I was in over the weekend to exchange a dress I purchased in mid-January ? I am from Cleveland (but visit from time to time) ? once I returned home from my Jan. visit, I realized the dress wasn?t right to wear at the occasion for which I bought it. So, I called the store, spoke to a helpful gentleman named ?Anthony? who told me that because I was from out of town, they would be more lenient with the return policy and allow me to exchange it or receive store credit upon my travelling to Buffalo this past weekend. He assured me that I would have no trouble, that they would ?take care of me." The dress sat in my closet for 2 weeks, all tags on in the original garmet bag. When I got to the store this past Friday, I explained to the store manager Brian, that I had spoken to "Anthony" last week and was hoping to exchange the dress. To my surprise, he was combative, rude, condescending, called me a liar and informed me that in fact there was no employee by the name of ?Anthony,? that my information was wrong, he could never exchange a dress a week past the 14 day return policy, that the dress I had bought wouldn?t sell on the floor because there weren?t any left in stock?the list goes on and on. Fact is, I spoke to an employee, who gave me a line of bs and told me something that apparently the store would never back up. I tried to reason with the manager to no avail, explaining to him that someone in his store told me, matter-of-factly that I could exchange the dress. The issue here is an internal one, not one I should have had to deal with. I have never had such a horrible, embarrassing, rude experience in my life. I would advise shoppers to stay away, give your business to Saks or Nordstrom who stand behind their merchandise and policies. Plus, I?ve heard that the owner of the company is inappropriate with his employees, lawsuits pending? Buyers beware!!!

At first glance, Tony Walker & Company appears to carry high-style, fashion-forward items. Countless racks and tables piled messily with shirts overwhelm the store. At closer look, I've found that most of the items are 3+ seasons old. From the first time that I walked into the store (2006), I've seen the same Marc by Marc Jacobs shoes. The annual Tent Sale only marks down the tackiest, glitziest merchandise...you won't find any plain Lacoste polos, basic designer jeans, or solid Juicy tracksuits.
I am a relatively frequent shopper there, due to the fact that their jean selection is wonderful. However, while very large and very small sizes are always in stock, medium-to-small items are much harder to find.
One salesgirl in particular is wonderful; most of the others are pushy, logo-aholics. When I recently went in to purchase a pair of dark-wash, simple straight-leg jeans, a salesperson pushed countless pairs at me with glittery or heavily-stitched back pockets.
I've become fed up with the overpriced merchandise and snobby salespeople. I recommend using the store to find your sizes in certain brands and items that you like, and then purchase said items online retailers such as Shopbop (free shipping and no tax!) or Nordstrom.

I was visiting Buffalo for the weekend and had read about Tony Walker in Buffalo Spree Magazine. I had limited time, but was in the neighborhood so I thought I'd stop by. I asked someone to help me find a pair of back strait leg jeans. The salesperson was great! It was better than shopping with my sister! She fetched sizes for me, bent down to roll up the pant legs when they were too long and suggested getting a "Yummy Tummy" when I complained that I had a muffin top! Within 20 minutes, I had my dream jeans and they feel great and look wonderful. Yes, I paid a lot for the jeans, but I saved in time and frustration--and that's worth a lot! I will definitely go back when I'm in Buffalo next time.

Anyone who doesn't think the employees here are pushy clearly haven't been to the same store I was in. I live in new york, grew up in buffalo and can tell you from experience the service they offer is ridiculously over bearing. Anyone who states they don't work on commisson is full of it. I asked an employee who informed me there was a computer screen that showed all the money each person had earned for that day...anyways, this store is not worth the trouble, hopefully a bloomingdales or saks will come to buffalo and replace this god awful store.

Tony Walker is a decent store...with some large issues. It is slightly untidy and has some of the worst salespeople i've ever dealt with. They have some grands like john varvatos theory diesel true religion dvf marc jacobs juicy and so on...but don't carry brands like D&G DSQUARED ETRO etc...thus making it more of a contemporary designer store...suitable for buffalo!!!...however after being to some of the best stores all over the world in hong kong, ny, london, toronto like holt renfrew saks neiman marcus harrods harvey nichols lane crawford etc...they make tw look like a thrift store...its sales associates drive me up the wall and make for an unpleasurable experience with their over pushyness...if you're desperate for a local shop however and don't mind awkwardly bumping into friends there i would recommend it.

Size 6 Uggs are apparently hard to come by in this store. Although the salesgirl made a grand show of her customer service skills in house, she lacked on the follow-through. I was supposedly put on a waiting list for a pair of size 6 classic tall Ugg boots. The salesgirl took down my info and phone number with a promise to call when new stock came in. I contacted the manager by e-mail twice with no reply. Months later, I never received a call and ended up placing my order from the Ugg Australia website instead. I wish I had just done that in the first place!
Also, this store has a great selection of Juicy Couture tracksuits - unless you're a size L or XL like me.
I am constantly hounded by staff in this store. Even when I tell them I'm just looking, it seems to make them more determined. Another time while shopping there, the salesgirl was so hot on my heels that I walked out, without even buying anything I went in for, just because I couldn't stand being watched like a hawk. It made me very uncomfortable.
This store is great for high-end labels, but if you want to make a purchase there, I strongly recommend you know exactly what you want to purchase beforehand so you can get in and get out quickly to avoid that feeling of someone watching and hovering over you.
As many others have stated, save up your cash and make the trip to NYC for a much better shopping experience.

Wow, I love this store! I grew up in LA and spent my summers in NY and I haven't been to a store that I liked better. I was so bummed when I first moved here because I was sure that I would have nowhere to shop. I was in Wegmans one day and I saw a girl wearing my favorite pair of Jeans. (J Brand) I asked her where she got them and she told me the walker store. When I walked in there I almost died. They have the same stuff that they sell at my second favorite store Fred Segal. (This is the store that all the celebs shop at). The celebs would love This Walker store. Every time I go in there they are so friendly and helpful. I have never felt like the were being pushy at all. Much to my surprise they give great advise. Coming from LA you don't expect them to know their stuff but trust me they do. They must do their homework. When I first moved here I couldn't believe that they were suggesting the same outfits that my friends and I were wearing out to Hollywood parties. We are so lucky to have a store like this in my new town. I will support them any way I can. Thanks Walker!

Pros: Best selection in America

Cons: Salespeople look a little young

This place is trying to bring style to Buffalo, but they only cater to white, upper class college girls. There is nothing unique in the store and the "Tent Sale" is a joke - no bargains to be found, just overpicked velor track suits. Best advice - get a cheap flight to NYC and buy your clothes there.

Tony walker and Co. is truly one of the kind. The sales staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I went in to purchase a pair of jeans and had a sales women all to myself. She helped me find a pair of jeans that fit me the best and within my price range. This is the only place in town that you can get that kind of attention and find all the best brands under one roof.

Tony Walker & Co. is definitely an amazing shopping experience with phenomenal customer service. Although I think it is a common misconception to find the sales staff to be "pushy" or competitive, it should be known that the fashion consultants do not really work on commission (I asked). The salespeople are simply doing their job. While a customer might think that their recommendations are overbearing, they know the products better than the customers and are in a much better position to offer their opinion. I would rather have a salesperson be overly-eager to help me than to offer zero knowledge of the product or assistance. This business is rapidly expanding and has a lot to offer. Anyone smart enough to shop at Tony Walker knows that their customer service and product line can't be beat.

Pros: Customer service, selection, cleanliness of store

Cons: Not true that this store is pricey - in comparison to other stores selling identical products, Tony Walker has much lower prices!

Never purchase any items from the store because if you have an defective item they become rude and unhelpful. I purchase jeans, boots and sweaters from their store and found out the jeans were defective. they blamed that perhaps it "didn't" fit me so I busted the button. Who says that to a customer even if you think that? They won't accomodate, which is disappointing to find out after this miserable circumstance. They won't refund at all which makes it more frustrating because they no longer have the item. Buyers beware.

I am in town visting my family from Toronto and Tony Walker & Co. is amazing. The staff is extremely helpful and they can really suggest what fits and flatters your body type. It's worth it to get their opinion! There's a huge selection of brands. I stocked up on jeans, UGGS, and Juicy. There are also expensive brands like Diane Von Furstenberg and Marc Jacobs. What a great mix!!! I will come to shop everytime I'm in town.
Fred, you should call and talk to a manager. I am sure they will take care of you. The managers were extremely kind. Something's off. The service was great and they would want to know everything! GREAT STORE!!!

We always go to Tony Walker when we are in Buffalo. However, time I was so bothered by the salespeople that I left the store without purchasing anything (highly unusual for me in that store!). I went in to buy a couple of nice pairs of jeans. Without a doubt, their selection is terrific. I asked for a certain name brand and was given the jeans; When I came out of the dressing room the saleshelp told me how great they looked on me....I couldn't even button them! I asked for another brand and they (2 sales girls) went to get them, however, they never came back with what I wanted they showed me more styles similar to the one that I tried on and didn't fit! When I asked about the ones that I wanted they said they wouldn't look good (I already own 2 pair and they look great). So, I left the store and purchased them elsewhere. NOT a pleasand experience at all!

I went into this store because I always here so many great things about it. I go to New York every month to visit family and have always done my shopping there, but I decided to give this place a try cuz a wanted a new pair of premium denim. Right away I noticed a decent amount of inventory, especially for around here. But in agreence with the person below, it did look messy. RIght away I had people greet me, which is polite, but it was a little too much. I had every worker at some point talk to me. I did say that I was just looking, cuz I wasn't sure what name brand I was looking for. Needless to say I did spend more than enough time in that store, and had to try stuff on for the people that worked there (WHY?). Really when I don't like something I usually know before I try it on ( thats why I don't bring it in to the fitting room). I wanted to leave just because of all the attitude and pushyness but almost felt obligated to buy something. My advice, if you have to shop there, be firm about what you want. Don't let some snooty college student tell you what to get , i"m sure you can figure that out yourself. Good Luck !!!!!

Pros: different brands

Cons: mostly 7's, and citizens, pushy people, messy atmosphere, people act to good for you

I don't know what all the fuss is about this place. Although it carries premium denim that obviously can't be found any other place around here, it looks like a tornado. You are just overwhelmed when you walk into this store. Clothes just piled around...very unprofessional. If the companies who sold them their jeans knew how they were displayed they probably wouldn't provide them in their store. THe staff thinks they know more than you. In most cases it's probablt true with some people. But when I say I don't need help (especially cuz I only wear certain jeans and already know my size) I don't need it. They keep hounding you. ALso I don't need to show ohters how things fit. I'm pretty sure me and my friend can tell if something looks good or not. THe staff isn't even that knowledgeable. I asked them about hudson, people's liberation and the girl had no idea what I was talking about. SHop at Nordstrom, shopbob, bloomies, forget this store....not worth it.

I went into this store the other day and I was amazed at how many great items were in this store. I love to browse and grab things I like and try them on. The associates were very pushy. I told her what I was looking for and she kept bringing me things that I didn't want and I felt forced to try them on. I didn't have much time. What I thought was going to be a 30 minute venture ended up taking over an hour to purchase a pari of jeans and a shirt.

When I found out about this store a few years ago, I was so excited to check it out. Being from WNY, there are not many high end clothing stores in the area and I was psyched to see what they had. The minute I walked in I knew I was going to be shopping there in the future. From Diane von Furstenberg to Ella Moss, they have everything I could want. They have Seven jeans, Citizens of Humanity, J Brand, Theory, Juicy, Diesel and tons more! Plus they still have everyone's favorite Aussie shirts! I love this store and all of the sales assistants are amazing...they know exactly what looks good on every body type. I was shy at first, but they make you feel comfortable and make you look amazing! The store is a little bit on the expensive side, but it is so worth it to pay for great quality and super fashionable clothes. Plus, they have a seamstress right in the store who does an such a good job tailoring to make the clothes fit to a tee! This store is a must!

I think this is the best store in town for the amazing variety of brands that they stock. I found everything I was looking for and received some great suggestions from the sales staff. It was a pleasant surprise to receive the attention that you get from their knowledgeable sales staff. Most other clothing stores locally give you a pleasant greeting and then you won't see them again even if you need help. Abercrombie staff members are trained not to talk to customers, so this was certainly a pleasant surprise. Their return policy is definitely shorter than most locally(14 days) but it's something you should expect from a high end clothing store, much like those located in NYC. The footwear staff took more than enough time to properly fit me for shoes to ensure a comfortable and accurately fitting shoe. I'll be back to spend many more of my paychecks there.

for as long as i can remember i have had a problem with finding jeans that fit me properly let alone are flattering. recently a friend on mine told me about tony walker and their incredible denim selection and the knowledgable staff that will help to ensure you find a pair of jeans that work for you. needless to say i went in and i was absolutly amazed at the merchandise they had on hand. all of the brands that i have read about in magazines like seven for all man kind, citizens of humanity, diesel, mavi, rich and skinny and many many more. I was clearly overwhelmed and needed assistance so one of the sales girls assisted me in my jeans conquest. it took somewhere areound 30-45 minutes and several pairs of jeans later, but with ehr help i eventually found the jeans for me. i was so happy with my new jeans that i decided to splurge on shoes and a top to go along with it. I am so happy that i found out about this store because finnaly someone has made buying jeans easy.

I have never really enjoyed shopping, I actually try to avoid it if I can. I had the best shopping experience ever at Tony Walker & Co. I went with my sister and we weren't really looking for anything in particular. This guy on staff ended up helping me. I ended up with about 10 pairs of jeans in the fitting room. Everything he recommended fit amazingly. They have a seamstress there too, so I just left the jeans I bought to be hemmed. It was so easy. The guy helping me kept bringing clothes that he thought I would like. I ended up with three shirts and I even considered buying a dress. They have the nicest stuff, especially if you're looking for something you can't find any where else around here. My sister ended up with a pair of pants and some makeup and samples of Kiehl's. We both agreed that this is the best place to shop. We're hooked on this store.

I had one girl helping me and she was explaining my body type and how I need to wear certain styles. You don't get that at other stores. I think we are lucking to have a store like this, with these types of brands, in this area.

My family and I have shopped at stores within the Advantage Co. for years (Sneaker Advantage, Stereo Advantage) and have been consistently loyaol customers. A recent experience has me so upset and appalled that I am spreading the word NOT to give this store your money. Long story short, their "Customer Policy" is BS. I purchased a pair of pants there that I have been wanting for a while. My aunt ended up buying me the exact same pair for my birthday so I naturally decided to take the pair I bought back to the store- completely unworn, tags obviously still attached. The pants had not even been removed from the bag. When I went to return them, they were taken to a back room out of my sight and were gone for about 10 minutes. When the clerk returned, I was told these pants were "unreturnable" b/c they were supposedly cuffed at the bottom- impossible. Never even took them out of the bag. I've heard many stories like this but never had a problem until now. I was told they weren't in the same condition as when I purchased them; funny how that bag must have attacked them while I was sleeping. All I saw was a wrinkle an inch from the bottom- THAT is unreturnable? How flaky can you be? I was also told they would throw them out and not put them back on the floor- dramatic, much? The clerk wouldn't even say what it was about the jeans that was different from when I bought them. I felt insulted, offended, and disgusted that this person was saying all of this with a straight face. Furthermore, on the receipt it says they accept damaged merchandise for return/exchange. If this is so, then why was this clerk so insistent that nothing leaves the store unless in mint condition? If that was the case, why would you need to put a "damage" blurb on your receipt? I could say more but I've wasted enough time. Who knows what they did in the back room. Bottom line, if you feel you need to buy something from this store, keep in mind that it is essentially FINAL SALE ONLY.

As a fashion coinsurer that recently moved from New York City, I was very scared that I was not going to be able to shop anywhere in Buffalo. A friend told me about Tony Walker & Co, I was ecstatic, and went to the store the same day. I was in my glory while walking around the store. I felt as though I was in New York City again on Fifth Avenue shopping at Saks Fifth Avenue or Henri Bendels. Their selection of merchandise and brand assortment is amazing, not to mention that there staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. I am so happy to know that I can shop in Buffalo and not have to travel back to New York City in order to buy the brands and the merchandise that I want. Think of it this way, you can spend more money because you dont have to spend the money to travel to the city. Its a great store and if you dont shop there then you are just silly!!!!

The problem is top down. The manager I encountered lacked common sense and was unskilled with addressing a problem, one that was of the store's policy for selling an item for which I was called in to pick up believing it was on hold, whereupon I promptly came in only to discover that it had been sold! If this is store policy, tell me ahead of time. I've never heard of such a policy by the way and if it is so, than it is very bad business practice. Anytime an associate of a store was following policy in the past, the manager has fixed the situation with no problem or apologized for not having made it clear...and I mean at any posh designer or discount store. He could have ameliorated the situation with an apology and perhaps do you think an exception to the rule or ordering a new item and actually holding it for me?I have never had a manager treat me with disrespect in all my years, and I have lived in NYC and Europe. The staff are young and try too hard to follow the agenda of this "pretentious" store....it's just a shop! Not an "experience". Treat your customers how you'd like to be treated. Every person I have relayed this to, remarked that they had heard of similar experiences and how one gets a frown if they don't like the sales clerk's suggestions. Tony Walker, we're taking our moolah elsewhere until you get with it! We can buy the same overpriced products over the internet and locally.

I read a couple reviews by icemom and someone else knocking TW&Co. I was especially impressed by the NYC shopper who didn't like the acne on the poor salesclerk. Come on, be serious. We are lucky to have a store as nice as T0ny Walker. The salespeople couldn't be more helpful and the store is beautiful. Their new juicy room which the juicy reps just loved was the highlight of their juicy party the other night. My daughter and i had a great time, and some of the best cupcakes i've ever tasted. i talked to the juicy rep that was there and she said it was one of their best, if not their best accounts in the northeast, maybe the country. Janet Snyder was there as well and i think she would have a thing or two to say to the nasty remarks i just read. Yes, the stuff is expensive, but it is great stuff. They have Kiehls now and who else would have thought of that. i wouldn't buy anything without Kristy's OK, she is the #1 fashion consultant in WNY. I could only think that it must be a competitor or someone who just doesn't like the advantage (and there are plenty who don't - their success rubs a lot of people wrong), but, come on, that store is light years ahead of anyone else in WNY.

I could only think that it must be a competitor or someone who just doesn't like the advantage (and there are plenty who don't - their success rubs a lot of people wrong), but, come on, that store is light years ahead of anyone else in WNY.

Pros: Selection, quality

Cons: price

It is one of few stores in the Buffalo area that carries a wide selection of designer jeans, but the sales associates are very overbearing with their ?assistance?. I usually have an OK shopping experience there, but last Saturday was awful. My sales associate was rude, pushy and did not listen to one word I said about what I liked and did not like. I understand that associates are trying to be helpful by suggesting other fits and washes and I don?t mind them bringing me a few of their recommendations. But after I expressed that I did not like their choices and wanted what I originally came looking for; my request should have been respected. It seems the ?customer is always right concept? is lost on their employees. Also their sales associate won't let you browse and try on your leisure; there is a fine line between being helpful and being a pest, again another concept that is lost on their employees. I prefer to browse racks, try on lots of jeans and then narrow my down choices and try them on again. I really don?t need to be constantly pestered by some commission driven 18 year old, with bad acne.

After the sales associate continued to not listen to my requests about what I was looking for, brought me jeans that I didn?t want, and was clearly lying to me about what looked good on me to get a sale, I walked out. I have never been treated so rudely by clothing retailer.

Yes they carry high-end high- quality high-priced clothing but do not genuinely care about their customers. The sales clerks are very pushy and follow you around everywhere. They do have, however, the best kept secret of offering a 10% student discount on clothing which they refuse to let people know about. I was shopping with my daughter the other day and spent $700. After I got home a friend of mine asked me if I had gotten the discount. No sales clerk or cashier ever mentioned anything about the discount to me or my daughter. So I called the store to find out the details and was told it was something they don't like to publicize. ..10% off may not be alot to some but it's alot of money to me...I was told I could come back with my daughter and receipts to get the discount. Between work and school my daughter wasnt available so I went back to the store with her student ID and learners permit and was refused the discount by Mr. Dennis Salemi himself. Since my daughter wasnt present with me at the time, he couldnt give me the discount. My daughter was with me on the day that I had spent the $700 and no one at that time mentioned anything about the discount so was it my fault?...No I think not. Mr. Salemi had a very snobbish attitude and refused to extend the courtesy of the discount after I had made a special trip back to the store and I was even planning on purchasing another item as a Christmas gift for my daughter. Needless to say, save your money and aggravation and shop elsewhere where people care about their customers. It's very evident that Tony Walker & Co doesn't.

It is hard for me to find jeans that fit perfectly, but at Tony Walker, with the help is the employees, I always find a great pair of jeans. They even have someone there to hem my pants.

Pros: cute clothes, seamstress, near-by

Cons: expensive

Love the brands - but if the manufacturers (James, Juicy etc...) saw how this company merchandised the clothing they wouldn't allow them to carry their stuff. Oh my god - piles of Juicy on a table (tacky..) - tons of non steamed Perse & Theory . Everything was wrinkled and piled and shoved into racks - no room - no forms wearing the clothes . No atmopshere ! Instead of pushy sales people they need a stylist to clean up this dump - they need a bigger location too. I usually will drop a minimum of $5-8 k at Belle Grey or F. Segal in LA . I was so turned offr by the tacky pushiness I went next door to Tricias and bought shoes - got back in my car and left . Embarrasing retailing - very trashy

I've been getting my jeans here for about 6 years before they became a popular jean store. I'm the type of person that likes to look around by myself.Idon't need someone jumping down my throat every min. to ask me if I need help.I have the crew come at me every time I go in this store.I would stop going there just for that fact, but its the only place in this area that sells the jeans I want.So I guess I got to just deal with it.Another thing,it's one thing for someone to help me pick out jeans and practically make me try them on but its another thing when I have to put them on and go out of the dressing room to show the person(s) who work there how they fit.So just beware going in, they're like monkeys on your back. If I need help i'll ask.
