I am a loyal shopper at the local thrift stores. I go mainly to browse and relax and hopefully find a good bargain here and there. I've been coming to this store faithfully for years. And my last experience was to much too ignore. Although some of the employees have come and gone management has always been in my opinion reasonable and respectful. That was until today. First was the blustering gospel on the radio that greeted me as I entered. Trying to ignore the high pitched Lyrics I retreated downstairs to the basement. I then saw an artificial tree that was marked down. Since no one was in the basement to cash me out an employee brought it upstairs for me to purchase. A women calling herself the manager grabs the tree from me and barks that I cannot purchase it because it was improperly marked. I tried to dispute it but to no avail. My problem is not with the price but in the manner in which it was handled. Her tone and behavior were below par to say the least and her attire was messy and disorganized. If this is the type of managers the Salvation Army is reduced to hiring I think I will take my business elsewhere.
