The five star reviews listed here are questionable as they are on certain other sites. Bad reviews for this firm have been removed from other sites where possible, if not, then the lisiting would be cancelled and a paid listing (without reviews) would be put in its place.

I had Alan Goldberg for a simple case and he was a nightmare. He does no research, when in court he hardly says anything, lets the other lawyer do all the talking and does not accept any criticism.
He did not keep me informed. Once received early morning phone call to be in court in an hour. His attitude is to let whatever happens, happen. Does not fight. Had to drop him or I would have lost my
property over something any other lawyer would have settled out of court. Was very good at making sure you paid. An absolute waste of money..

Mr. Goldberg and his entire firm were very reputable and honest. He successfully defended a summary eviction poroceeding against me and saved my apartment. The referral service said that he was their best attorney and they were right!..

My landlord tried to evict my wife and myself from our apartment. It was originally my mothers apartment. We were living with her. When she died the landlord sued us in court to evict us. Mr. Goldberg proved that we had the right to remian in the apartment because I had lived with my mother. We won the case and there is no rent increase. He is now suing the landlord to get us back our lawyer fees. I recommend him very highly.

Keep as far away from these people as you can get. They are awful. Once they have your money, that's it. They are unprepared (if they do decide to show up). Or else you'll get an early morning phone call to be in court the same day. They never tell you what's happening, don't bother to get your side of the case, avoid answering questions and don't tolerate criticism. They have bad reviews all over the Internet and with good reason. Find another firm.

I loved the free consultation. He sat with me for over an hour. My landlord threatened to evict me. Mr. Goldberg called the lawyer for the landlord and was able to get them to agree not to evict me. I tried to give him a payment but he would not accept it. He said that I was a senior citizen and that he was glad to help me. I have referred three other people in my building to Mr. Goldberg and thay all have the same great things to say about him. He is like a TV lawyer!

You will never forget a lawyer who doesn't show up at court, doesn't keep you informed, doesn't answer questions and turns a deaf ear to any criticism. It is a sinking, nauseating feeling and to make it even worst, you realize that you actually paid for those services. I almost lost my property on a simple case that could have been settled out of court but wasn't because these guys wouldn't make the effort. I had to drop him and my biggest regret is not having gone to the bar association. Please research this firm if you don't believe me - the Internet has numerous former clients who say the same thing.

HE REPRESENTED ME AND GOT ME $2MILLION DOLLARS IN A BUY OUT FOR MY APARTMENT. THE OTHER LAWYERS FROZE WHEN HE WAS SPEAKING. I AM STARTING AN ALAN GOLDBERG FAN CLUB!
