As a fan of Mastmans for many, many years, I must save your readers some time. The owner, a friend of mine, decided he had just had enough. He closed the business in , I believe, Spring or Summer, 2007. Just another pedestrian "deli" exists in its place, making no pretensions to actually replace the great Mastmans. Believe me, I am truly sorry -- both to report this, and especially for the loss of this fine place.

.

It's a small, unassuming place, very, very casual, but the food is world class.
Located at the corner of Hertel and Colvin in Buffalo, NY, Mastmans has been making the best Kosher food for over 40 years at the same location.
Dine in, and enjoy your fill of Kosher dill pickles and the area's best homemade saurkraut.
Bring a friend, come hungry and share a knish, a bowl of Matzo Ball soup and the Elmwood sandwich.
There are many, many things on the menu, so take your time. The only thing is, remember this is a KOSHER Deli, do NOT ask for dairy and meat together, they will not serve it.
