This place so crowded.Every where lines, I mean very long lines! you can not even get one ride in two hrs. if you have little kid. Do not go there. you would regret it. Also it is very expensive. Basicly it is not worth it!

This place, on a crowded day, is the king of all rip-offs. We got in at 1pm on Saturday ... and the parking lots were filled to overflowing. Inside, lines to get a locker, lines to get food, lines to line up for lines. The management should decide what "capacity" means, instead of collecting every last admission fee they can, regardless of whether there's room inside. We went on ONE ride -- with a 30+ minute wait ... and gave up when we couldn't find another line under an hour. This, with all kinds of rough-housing everywhere and foul language heard more than once in a supposedly family-friendly park. Our 8-year olds were soon begging us to leave, and we did, feeling thoroughly ripped off. From there, we drove 30 minutes to Smith Point beach where we enjoyed nature's version of a theme park - the Atlantic surf. It was free -- and it was 1,000 per cent better than Splish Splash, to which we will never return.

This water park is so much fun. There are a lot of rides and not just water flooms. There is something for every age and type of person. If you like lounging around there are places near the water pool to relax. I love going here with a lot of friends.

PROS: fun place
CONS: not cheap

We love and adore Splish Splash Water Park. It is a huge venue, with the most awesome water rides. There are great big rides that you carry your own float up to, and there are sweet little water rides for the littlest of kids. The Lazy River is a favorite-a long slow ride in a float. It is very busy here, so arrive early and avoid the weekends if you can. The parking lot is a madhouse, but they have a shuttle bus that picks you up. Wear your bathing suit, don't bring any valuables-just a towel (and a credit card!) and you are set!

This place can be alot of fun, if you go midweek and early AM. otherwise the lines are always long and admission is very expensive if you as me. Bring your lunch and a towel and get there early!

I liked the fact that the park is shaded very well. It was nice to sit under trees instead of in the hot sun all day. I think most of the park was built around the trees as they are very large, so the builders took care to only take out trees where they needed to build instead of clear-cutting the entire area. It gives the park a nice feel and keeps the walkways from getting overheated as well

The most crowded pool in the kiddie area was the first one, Octopus Pool with swings hanging off four of his eight legs. My son loved that, but I found this area in particular to be veyry crowded and noisy, so we moved on up the hill to the Elephant Pool and Pirates Cove. At the Octopus Pool, I saw my first complaint of the day. It was early, but already there was a great deal of rough-housing going on that the lifeguards there were turning their heads to. The entire Kiddie Cove is supposed to be only for those under 42-inches. I understand myself that having older siblings in with younger ones often happens (it did with us) but then they should understand that they are in an area with little kids and act accordingly or be thrown out. This did not occur while I was there. The rough-housing was virtually non-existent at the other two pools.

For the older ones, there was a wide variety of slides and swimming areas to choose from. There are two family raft rides, both of which we went on and enjoyed a great deal. Both the Lazy River and wave pool were disappointing.

The food we ate was not that good and very expensive. A side order of onion rings was $1.95 and only had six Burger King size onion rings in the bag. My kids had corn dogs which they normally love and were not crazy about. I had a cheeseburger that was overcooked and dry.

PROS: nice shade to sit under, good selection of water rides
CONS: uneven enforcement of rules, food is not that good and expensive

The log flume was fun. the pool was nice, but i think the bathrooms were too far away for anybody to get out of the pool and use it. I did not like seeing roaches in my locker; i don't know if came from the indian guy who had the locker next to mine or what.

Splish Splash is a fantastic water park. They have great water flume rides! Wear your bathing suit because you are going to get wet. They have rides for the young and old to enjoy. There is even an area where you can get on a raft and just float around in like a large pool area. It's great fun!

PROS: great water park
CONS: not so great on rainy days

If you live in Long Island and are looking for a nice place to bring the family, Splish Splash is it. I usually take the trip to Riverhead 3 or 4 times during the summer to do shopping at the outlets and also to go to Splish Splash with my nieces and nephews. You have to get there early in order to beat the line to the slides. Any other time, I recommend the lazy river which lets you relax in a cooling pool of water. Splish Splash is a great place to take the family.
