Terrible Daycare. I had my son in there from 4 months - 7 months, I dropped him off one morning to find 2 babies alone in the infant room with no teacher, when I made a scene they acted to look for the teacher, never found her. I called

My son Lucas started Great Beginnings when he was only a year old, until he was 3 and transitioned. I was very nervous and unsure in the beginning as any parent would be leaving their child for 8 hours a day 5 days a week and being that it was my child's first time in a school setting.

In a very short time I found the entire staff to be professional, informative, loving, sweet, and very helpful to me when I had questions or problems. There was never a time that school was not meticulously clean, they had hand sanitizer everywhere and the caretakers constantly washed their hands. And what I liked most was that there was always an open door policy. If you wanted to drop by you just could.

The Staff at Great Beginnings became our second family. Especially Shari and Diane. I sobbed the day my son had to leave. My son learned so much from them and they were so patient and kind. The wonderful women who took care of the infants were more than dedicated and all I saw was them treating these children as if they were their own.

I thank god I chose Great beginning for my child. And I give a lot of credit to Shari for running a well organized, loving learning environment.

I also read the reviews and completely disagree. My first child went to Great Beginnings starting at 7 months and we are about to start our 3 month old as I start back to work. Had I known what a wonderful experience we were going to have, we would have started my first child sooner. Instead I wasted countless hours searching for private Nannies. As I drove past Great Beginnings, I called the number on the building and Shari, the Director, was so very friendly and invited me over for a tour, right then and there. I stopped in and found all the kids playing, happy, being fed their lunch and everyone was attended to (especially the babies). Shari held my hand and helped with some serious separation anxiety. The daycare took my calls everyday to tell me how my son was doing. They were all so caring that I consider them part of our extended family and I look forward to working with them again.

I have read the reviews and I totally disagree. My grandson has been at Great Beginnings since he was 3 months old. He is now 2 1/2 and he has been singing the ABCs and counts to 20 for the past 6 months. He is learning his colors, shapes and is learning how to respect and follow orders. As for children being left alone, they can be alone momentarily, as long as they are not in risk of getting hurt. That is how they become independent. I am thoroughly satisfied with the care my grandson has received and I will be eternally grateful for all the love and attention the ladies have given my grandson. I will also be extremely sad when he leaves in June. That is his second home and all those ladies are like a mom to him. Lastly, if you are a germaphobic, you should seriously consider home schooling. Nurseries, daycares and schools are filled with germs, regardless, of how much they are sanitized. I personally love and would highly recommend Great Beginning.

worst daycare ever. at first it seemed ok.. but after minor things that bothered me day in and day out finally i broke. I dropped my child off one morning and there were 2 (both under 7 months)babies left unattended with no adult in the room. When i made a scene they acted to "look " for the person that was suppose to be there only to find she left.. no apology phone call or explanation..

I had to pull my child out of here. They gave away his crib and spot and told me they had no where for my child to sleep. they made him sleep in a bouncy seat. After i had words with the director Shari who is as nasty as can be i was left with no choice but to pull my child from the program. I know other parents as well removed their children from the program because their childs needs werent being met.

As a former employee of this buisness i can say that it is a disgrace the workers do not care about the children the place is filthy and covered in dirt and mold. They have sippy cups for all the children with mold in the lid. The sewer backs up into the building and creates the most vile smells. there are too many children and not enough workers. sometimes there are 15 infants and only 2 workers there. I would rather leave my children home alone then in that place of filth. People should really consider an alternative day care for the children

My daughter attended Great Beginnings from 2-3 years old. The director and teachers were always friendly and caring. I would drop and pick up my daughter at in at all different times and never found her alone or unattended. The director
