Went to get a piercing or possibly two. The guy that does the piercing was so rude and disinterested, there was no way I was letting him anywhere near me with a needle. Shop owner just as rude. What an awful place.

I was moving out of state basically doing the whole "start a new life" thing and wanted a piece of work to comemorate that. I went to Ink Inc to get a half sleeve consisting of a pheonix. Mike spent a few days drafting up a piece which I was told was completely custom and totally original. When finished, the tatoo barely covered 3 quarters of my forearm while it was supposed to go all the way around, which I suppose I was fine with, but not only were my color requests ignored, there were a lot of spots where the color didn't meet the lines, and some of the linework is incomplete. I felt as though the session was rushed and he was just trying to get me in and out. All of these I suppose may have been forgivable but when I came back to town to visit, I made an appointment to have the piece touched up. Mike literally had me in the chair for 5 minutes, did about 5 little strokes with the machine, and called in his next appointment. I obviously was not given the time that was required to fix the tattoo, because it still looked terrible. He was very lazy with his color blending and it was poorly done. Upon my next visit to Kingston about a year later, I met someone else who had also been tattooed by Mike about 10 years before me. The tattoo I got was almost identical to his. Color and everything. Custom one of a kind piece, huh? Fortunately for me, I did find a wonderful shop and a great artist where I live now, and my pheonix was fixed to the best of anyone's ability, but it took all I had to now go back to Ink Inc upon my last visit and show Mike what a real artist's work looks like. The sad thing is I've seen some nice work from him and hoped that would be the kind of attention I would get. Sadly his inconsistancy with his on again off again drug use makes him hit and miss... and in a field where the client has to live with the work for the rest of their life, he's too much of a liability.

To be rather honest, I had heard some bad things about Ink Inc, so i decided to just stay away from it. Well i was really jonesin' to get my tattoo finished, all i needed was "Dad" written underneath the shamrocks i already had on my foot. The place i usually get my tats done at was closed for the day, and i really didnt have a second choice. I was in Kingston so i decided to just...run to Ink Inc, and price shop a bit.

First off, i knew i wasnt going to get a better price than what they offered. Second, the word "Dad" came out terrific.

Pro's: Mike (owner) is fantastic, if you go, make sure you get him.
Cons: piercer has a really bad attitude, i dont recommend them for piercings. He's a creep.

I currently have seven tattoos most of which i have received at ink inc. The owner mike is an amazing artist. Hes worked with me on a few custom pieces, he listened to my input and gave his and in the end they have come out better than expected. Ive seen tattoo shops charge twice as much as mike and do half the job. For as good a job mike does hes really fast too. Once i got my first tattoo from mike i new i would not go to any other place. There's nothing better than sitting in mike's old black chair getting some work done. Anyone looking to get a tattoo head over there and check out his work.

This place is a pretty chill place. It has its ups and downs depending on who is doing your tat. Try to stay away from the owner Mike....he does the poorest work there. My tattoo that he did is horrible! It's so bad I don't even want to go back for him to touch it up! The first tat I got here though came out awesome, this chick there Erin did it...if you're gonna go here try to get her, she's awesome and does good work. She also knows alot about what she's doing. Another downfall to this place is its prices. Not only did I get a poor tattoo I also got charged $150 for it!

PROS: Good people, alright artists depending on who you get
CONS: pricey, some artist aren't very good
