A great school, in a very odd place but don't let that fool you, they have great friendly instructors, mine was George, he was great and strict which made learning better. I passed the road test so quickly, first time!

Simply the best! I originally tried to use the online course on their web site, which i found through google. It was not really working well, but I called and made an appointment for the five hour course and i just passed the road test

This place is spot on!!! I've been to a few in the past, in whitestone and floral park. while they were good, mercedes driving school is by far the friendliest and met new and exciting people in the class.\r

This is simply one of the coolest schools in Queens. I have even taken classes in Manhattan schools and they weren't as good either.\r

It is almost impossible to find a driving school that offers lessons on how to drive a stick shift, so when I found Mercedes Driving School, I figured I had to at least try it out. The experience was amazing. The instructor made me feel

I had the pleasure of having the class taught by Elissa. She definitely did much more than "pop in the video and talk about the sheets." She just had this zeal and enthusiasm and it visibly carried over into the class, making me feel

Very good customer service. I did like George and Sid. I did not like Adriene. If you want only one instructor make sure you book as far in advance as possible. They have nice cars, I enjoyed the blue Toyota. The customer service is nice.

These people are simply the best. I got my license with the first time and I had fun as well. If you want to become a real good driver, not just pass the road test this is the place to be.
They are really care.

I was pretty dissatisfied with my experience at Mercedes. As the other reviewer stated, George was a good instructor, but all others were terrible and the office deliberately tried to keep you from having George multiple times.

Instructors aside, my biggest complaint was that the majority of their vehicles had serious issues, for example cars that desperately needed realignment. When, at the end of a lesson, I brought the fact that the car needed to be realigned up to an instructor (you had to turn the wheel about 45 degrees to the left to get the vehicle to drive straight) he told me that there was nothing wrong with the car, and lectured me for paying attention to the steering wheel. I found this insulting, and also think that it's really wrong to misguide a new driver when it comes to car maintenance. Obviously he didn't want me to believe that they're cars are buckets of junk, but had I been less experienced in car maintenance, it may have misguided me in the long term about proper car care. In a perfect world, wouldn't driver's ed also teach you a bit about how to own and maintain a vehicle?

Pros: George

Cons: Other instructors, poor car maintenance, bad attitude

I was very satisfied with my experience at Mercedes. I have no serious negative comments. George was my teacher & he was a true driving instructor from the moment I got in the car, to the moment I stepped out. He was just what I was looking for. Ask for him.
