But Astorians seem to fall into two camps: Love the Palace, or detest it. I'm in the former. There's better pizza in the neighborhood (Sac's), and certainly better atmosphere, but every time I've been to the Palace, the service has been quick and friendly, the pizza has not disappointed, and the garlic knots have been tasty. The super-thin crust may be the cause of the dispute: The whole slice, not just the tip, droops when you hold it up.
