Sunpoint Retreat

This is the definitely place you need to visit if you like to get nice tan without burning. I am glad that I finally found place that is really nice and comforting. It is amazingly clean therefore you should not worry to get undressed. They offer variety of services including European massage. Staff is very welcoming and friendly, your immediately feel relax. It is definitely different from most of the Upper East Side Spa?s.

Within my neighborhood there is this wonderful place where you can relax, get a nice massage, take a sunbath, get a pedicure and buy healthy cosmetics. Right from the beginning you feel that you are been taken care of. A place to recover from the daily stress and charge your "battery".

A five-star Retreat that I can recommend.

I am absolutely thrilled to have found Sunpoint. After shopping around for years I have found a Manhattan spa with amazing (and decently priced) massages, express mani/pedi (that lasts endlessly and never chips), facials with terrific products (great for sensitive skin) and of course, a selection of tanning beds. The staff at Sunpoint are trained, knowledgeable and genuinely attentive and concerned about my needs each visit. Absolutely relaxing atmosphere...a pure escape!

Cons: Can get busy late afternoons and early evenings.

You just can't go wrong! Fast, clean and friendly. The end result is also the best I have ever had. I have experienced many spray tanning salons over the years and Sunpoint is "hands down" the very best. I have sent so many friends and they all thank me, over and over.

I have been going to Sunpoint for several years now and they never disappoint! Everyone is super friendly, extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. Mini spa features a nice, relaxed and CLEAN environment. If you are on the UES and need to pamper your pale tired body, treat yourself to a massage/facial or get a spray tan. Always recommend Sunpoint to friends and family.

" sunpoint spa a wonderful eastside experience"

have been seaching for a clean relaxing place to pamper myself. both requirements have been met. the staff is move than friendly they are 100% on top of their game in recommending a full service spa (mani, pedi, messages n tanning). i spoke to what i believe to be the owner she was nice enough to take the time and explain to me about sunpoint's full line or organic facial products. i now have converted from using soap on my face ha ha to some very fine cleansers. toally would suggest if in the area stop by and check it out.

A real gem on the UES. What once was just my tanning salon, now gets all of my business: massage, facials, waxing, nails. The salon is spotless and the staff is exceptional. One stop pampering!

When ever we are visiting NYC, our first stop is to the Sunpoint SPA. It is a great beginning for a fun filled weekend. My friends and I have never been dissappointed when we go there.. Highly recommend it to anyone that wishes to have everything available in one place and receive total satisfaction..

The answer to the woes of all New Yorkers who visit massage and tanning salons and who complain about "questionable" joints : Sunpoint brings the exceedingly high quality of German equipment to our doorstep and has first-rate massage therapists. As someone who's really picky about going for a massage, the ambiance at Sunpoint along with the professionals therapists at work make the experience a good one. I particularly appreciate the insight and guidance of the veru knowledgable owner, who takes personal interest in the wants and needs of her clients. Top-calibre place!!!

- I have been to many spas, including tanning salons.
- Sunpoint is by far the cleanest with a friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Their equipment and treatment rooms are alwasy neat and cozy.
- They make you feel like you are a VIP at all times.
- Go for tanning, massages or facials. You will not be disappointed

I spray tan every week and I love Sunpoint's spray tan booth!
It's fast and gets the job done quickly.
I have been spray tanning for many years, and Sunpoint, by far, has the best machine around.

The staff, especially the owner, are very personable and make the experience that much better.
Sunpoint feels homey and not like a factory" (like "Hollywood Tans" - which I think is horrible).
They have great magazines for when you're drying off.

Sunpoint is also very clean which is very important.

Pros: Great Staff. Great spray tan booth. Feel like I'm at home when I'm there.

I went for the first time and got a 60 min. massage from Antonio. He definitely knew what he was doing but was not relaxing at all and very forceful, I am in more pain after the massage then i was before I went. I also want to say he wasn't very careful with making sure I was covered by the blanket. I felt a little uncomfortable.

Cons: Not v ery Spa like.. More of a tanning and nail salon

The "60-Minute Relaxation Massage" is out of this world! Paulina, the masseuse, was amazing. Her strokes were gentle and firm, never too rough. The massage left me thoroughly relaxed. My only recommendation would be that the spa should either have another massage room or book clients with a 5-10 minute gap, so that we may take our time changing after our massage.
Regardless, I have no complaints about my massage, and would absolutely go there again.
